The cleanliness could have been a bit more thorough and the spa didn’t work for the majority of our stay (though it was super super hot so we didn’t need it on). "We had a trouble free stay at ForestBrae. The accommodation is spacious, very clean and very well stocked. Every cooking utensil we could want and very many basic provisions were available. The lounge has a relaxing outlook. It is a very quiet location with bird noise and no car noise. It is walking distance to the shops. We would stay again "

"While the interior of the house was really good, the exterior was completely the opposite. The lawn was unmown and knee high so the children couldn't use the lawn or the play areas. The trampoline had no base so unusable, and the swing set was in poor repair as well.I hate to give negative reviews but I have to say it as it was. The exterior cobwebs on the windows made it obvious that no-one was taking care in the presentation of the property. Sad as it's a great house....just mow the lawn!"

House worked well for large adult family with separate accommodation in the granny flat. Lovely firm beds with electric blankets. "We received a wonderful warm welcome on our return visit. Delicious cake for afternoon tea in the lounge/common room on Saturday afternoon. The guesthouse is stylish, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The booking includes a free cooked breakfast. The parking is easy and convenient.
