"This is my go-to in Picton. Clean, spacious and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Communication and check-in was easy. The only small suggestion I have is that it would be useful to have some kind of hook on the back of the bedroom & bathroom doors to hang items on (like a toiletry bag) since there isn’t a lot of bathroom counter space. A full length mirror would be useful as well for us ladies that are visiting for a girls' weekend. Everything was great. I've been here before...

"This is a great spot. Quiet with easy private access to a beautiful large lake, fantastic sunsets. The chalet is simple but well equipped. It is easy to get around to PEC great spots like Sandbanks but you can also just have a great time at the chalet swimming, kayaking, relaxing on the deck and the dock or playing games around the fire (not to mention the Sauna). Great value."

"Our family greatly enjoyed our week staying in Watercombe. The waterfront is stunning and we frequently took out the kayaks to explore the bay. All amenities worked very well for us. One note for anyone staying longer (we stayed for a full week) would be that trash and recycling have to be driven out to the main road on collection day and there is not an outdoor bin to store a trash should you generate more than one bag."

"From our arrival and seeing Bill unloading wood for our stay and showing us around the property, and the things we will need to know to the beautiful rustic interior of the cottage and the view of the lake, with all the wild life, this was absolutely a amazing 9 days for us and our dogs. "Wonderful location for a cottage with perfect access to the outdoors. Great that kayaks were available from the rental business. Rustic building, no door on the freezer, but once we knew what was what, which was unfortunately on the second day of our stay, it was perfect. Unfortunately I didn't get a response about the Sandbanks pass number when I requested it a week before our stay so there were no reservations available at Outlet Beach."
