We enjoyed a lovely relaxing few days here. So peaceful and private with bush and water views. Comfy sofas and big squishy cushions for relaxation, reading and afternoon naps. Cosy bedrooms with crisp, clean bedding and spare blankets and towels. We enjoyed the art and home from home feel. Thank you to Anna for the welcoming, kind and thoughtful communication.

Beautiful bush outlook from multiple decks

We enjoyed our stay in this house. It had all the necessities and comforts we needed. It has dining, kitchen and lounge upstairs (ie. The level you arrive at) and sleeping and bathroom downstairs. Beware of the connecting stairs however, these are solid timber and relatively steep.

Home away from home- seriously!

My daughter (17) and I absolutely loved our stay. Anna’s communication was fantastic, and we felt welcomed even before we had started our journey to Whaingaroa (Raglan). The house is very inviting, and had ample space for the two of us, yet with the three bedrooms and large living area, we could have easily had the rest of our family stay- and a couple of extra’s. Both decks (yes, an upper and lower deck) again give ample space for relaxing, reading, eating, or enjoying the bush during the day- and the song of the various birds-or the stars at night.There is a peacefulness and warmth that comes not only from the location, but the various pieces that adorn the walls. You truly feel like you are at home when you first arrive, and that feeling remains for the duration of your stay.We loved the proximity to a couple of beautiful wee bays, as well as only a brief drive to grab coffee and kai- thanks for the coffee advice, Anna!We have raved about your whare to the rest of our family, and we will definitely stay again.

Raglan- west coast bush retreat

great property hidden with private settings overlooking a native bush filled culvert. peaceful and quiet. birdsong our music. really close to town, and the house had all we needed for our stay. no dishwasher or laundry- but small inconveniences. would stay again.

A fabulous 4 day stay over Xmas. Lovely peaceful surroundings with bonus sea view. Was great being able to have our fur babe with us also. We will definitely be back

Beautiful bach

Beautiful Bach, communication with the owner was awesome and she answered all my questions. The bach was stunning, it felt more like a home and was equipped with everything and more you could need. It can become a bit noisy when you have 6 people with some of them wanting to sleep earlier than others but thats really the only downside.

Lovely escape to Raglan in a experiment of taking our small dogs and enjoying a lovely house.

Thanks Anna for allowing us to share your house, the joys of Raglan with pets included. We have 2 house trained little dogs that love company so unsure how they would settle but did. Great house as like ours with 2 levels and upper deck has views of bush and harbour so contained. Wanted a relaxing stay, no car needed (brought own food) and enjoy local Coxs beach (2 mins walk and wait for high tide) with walks. We wanted relaxing, read book and enjoy peace. Would stay again. Good communications with Anna. Lovely.
