"Had a lovely time at Denise’s riverside cabin. Cozy place had everything we needed to cook meals, it was a short drive to soak at the fabulous Terwilliger hot springs, and what a delight to fall asleep to the sounds of the river. Can’t wait to come back "

"This home is excellent. Located right on the beautiful McKenzie River. The property is exactly as advertised. The hosts/owners have gone above and beyond to make sure the home is stocked with everything you may need. They even have items that you may have forgotten to bring for yourself. "Overall it is fine cabin. Kitchen was updated. Getting heat circulated in the cold weather was difficult. Space heaters would have been nice especially since the heat is located only in living room and kitchen areas. There was one but it did not work. Anyone with mobility issues would have issues at this house as the stairs going upstairs (to the nicer bathroom) are very steep. Little kids would be a challenge as the stairs would be scary for them to use. Plenty of beds for everyone but if...

"We enjoyed the stay. Overall, it was a nice stay. The hosts were great to deal with and willing to work with us regarding our stay. Thank you!! The bed and sheets were comfortable. The down sides, there was mouse poop in the oven drawer on the pans. There were cobb webs around inside and a bunch on the furniture in the enclosed deck. We had to clean the furniture before sitting and table to enjoy the enclosed area. No spiders, so they had been there a while. A little more cleaning...

"I wanted to celebrate my 50th in my favorite spot in Oregon. The Whiskey Rock Cabin did not disappoint. The cabin was beautiful, clean & cozy. We enjoyed cocktails on the deck while watching the river roll by and cards in the evening next to the fire. My only complaint is we had to leave it behind to return to reality. We had a great time and will definitely be back. "
