"Overall a very nice house to stay in, although a lot of stairs. Everything worked as it should but the downstairs loung seemed cold with no apparent means of warming it up other than the log burner. The TV in that lounge is placed quite high on the wall leading to a spot on neck ache. The TV in the to bedroom has a remote control that I didnt manage figure out in the five days we were there. "Extremely roomy and well-appointed, very comfortable stay in a great location, just a few minutes from the ferry so great for walkers. Bus stop on the block, great transportation around the island. Enjoyed the view, excellent kitchen facilities, Marks & Spencer just a couple blocks away. Would definitely recommend for value for money. "

"Ballaloaghtan is perfectly located 30 mins from Douglas but within easy reach of a village shop..5 mins, a fine dining restaurant….10 mins and beautiful walks from the barn. We had a mix of weather but we did get to enjoy a walk up to South Barrule, a cycle ride around some of the TT circuit and a visit to Laxey on the Electric railway. It was always a pleasure returning to the house where we could cook, eat and relax together after our busy days. We will be returning 🙂"

"We had a wonderful stay in lodge 1. The owner was friendly and helpful. The lodge was beautiful and had all we needed. We didn’t have a car but had friends who picked up up each day we went out. You would need access to transport. We would happily stay again! "

"The property has picture windows overlooking the bay - stunning views. The house was clean overall, comfortable and well equipped. Although there is a lack of shaver point which I use to charge my electric toothbrush. I had to buy a manual toothbrush. The rugs in hall, lounge and kitchen are unnecessary as the floors are tiled/parky flooring. These rugs could do with a clean as could the settees. Apart from that it was an enjoyable stay with easy parking at the bottom of the hill and a good 10...

"Very overpriced. We were traveling with a group of 7 so we booked 2 exact apartments in the same building. Vrbo charged me more than our friends paid. They booked through Expedia. I will never use Vrbo again. The owner then charged me more money when we arrived, after the final online payment was made. He stated we didn’t pay for enough people, The apt sleep 7 we had 3 ppl in ours. Explain that? Pictures online were from another much nicer location (catfished). Very unclean. Cheap furniture...
