"Very comfortable home to stay in for a four generation girls trip. Very nice deck to hang out on and take in the view. Beds were comfortable but a little high for a bunch of short women. Our 79 yr old 4’9” aunt need a boost to get into the bed. She did really appreciate the walk in shower and not needing to step into a tub. Highly recommend this home!"

"We had our family of 6 (4 teens) over the 4th of July week. House is exactly as described. Loved having the extra bedroom and bathroom attached by breezeway. Kids enjoyed the main house while we had our own place. We rented a boat and were able to attach to mooring ball close to dock. Beach area was perfect. The house really has everything you can ask for."

"Very nice, updated property. The home met all of our needs and we enjoyed the access to the water. There was an issue with the heat and property manager and owner acted immediately and remained in constant contact with us which we really appreciated. I recommend more pictures and decorations throughout to give the house a homier vibe. We would stay again."

"We had the best time at the Shingle Shack! The house was spacious and comfortable. It is has a very homey feel to it. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is a great little market within a few minutes drive that we v bought all of our groceries at. The kayaks were fun to take out into the lake. "Me and the husband weekend getaway for my 50th birthday. Easy checkin, friendly host, exceptionally clean. We had a great, relaxing time. Good location for many local attractions. Beds were comfortable. We did not use the hot tub or sauna… but thoroughly enjoyed the cozy fireplace. Would definitely stay here again if we get back to this area of Michigan. Thanks Aaron!!"
