When we walked into this home, we were greatly impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of the home. The pictures online matched what the home looked like in person.
It was nice that they provided firewood for the fire pit, which we used one night to roast s'mores.
There were adequate towels, washcloths, dish towels, etc.
The setting in the woods was really nice. We had one night where we were able to see the stars. (the other nights, the sky was covered because of smoke blowing down from fires in Canada.) But it was nice not to have light pollution.
We were able to ride our four-wheelers down the road to a dirt road where we saw animals and deer. It was a beautiful tree lined road.
The home was close to Keystone and Mount Rushmore. We ate at Ruby's Inn - really good trout.
It was also close to Hill City where we ate at Alpen Inn (European type cuisine) and Chute Rooster (the best Prime Rib I have ever eaten.)
Our grandsons loved Cosmos. We rented a pontoon boat at Sheridan Lake, drove the Needles Highway, visited the Wax Museum, and of course, Mount Rushmore, to name just a few. We stayed five nights and four full days, and could have used another day or two.
This home was a nice retreat from all the busy days we spent there. It was large enough for the seven of us to spread out in and relax. I highly recommend it.
