A clean, spacious, well appointed apartment, a 30 minute walk from the city area.
From a guest’s perspective there were many little things missing which we’ve come to expect from our many short stay vacations eg A ‘Welcome to my House’ booklet explaining how to use the appliances and other features. Simple issues could easily be fixed if the guest knew how to work them eg dishwasher, key lock and heaters. Easily fixed if given an explanation of use, in the guest’s language. A simple guide, map and bus timetable compilation booklet including places of interest, taxi numbers, suggested restaurants and the details about a great feature of Reims - the city bus, which we saw often but could not find out where or how to catch it. Such a booklet usually is always found in Airbnbs, guest houses etc and so helpful. Another really welcoming feature included in great stays is the thoughtful inclusion of 100mls of milk, dishwashing detergent, bath soap and a couple of scoops of washing powder. All to make international travelers’ stay an easy and pleasant one.
We had some difficulty with communication but believe the fault lay with VRBO and not the host.
