"Our little 3 night get away to Manhattan Beach was just what we needed. The restaurant was open on Sunday, but was closed on Monday and Tuesday due to this being a slower time of year for them. We did have wonderful weather, the tree colors were just starting to turn which made a drive through Pillsbury State Park very enjoyable."

"Great location for super easy (1 block away) access to the atv trails. Cabin is in a quiet neighborhood, close to the lake. Convenience store and restaurants/bars within easy walking distance. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed/wanted. Plenty of room for parking our pickup, 14’ trailer, and Rzr in the driveway. We would not hesitate to stay here again. "

"Very nice, clean beautiful area. Unfortunately, our weekend was Extremely windy so kept us inside. The only thing that I would keep in mind is, it is right next to the owners so not a lot of privacy if that’s what you’re looking for. Other than that, it was a nice stay. "

"The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable. I've stayed at several other rental properties and I can say this was the first that included some of the basic kitchen/bathroom staples such as plastic baggies, tinfoil and saran wrap, paper plates, as well as plenty of napkins, paper towels, and toilet paper. The kids loved the loft, table tennis, and the hammocks down by the lake. The owners really did a fabulous job utilizing the space. We would definitely look to stay here again in the future....

"The Shangri-La was absolutely beautiful and so cozy. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and it was such a treat to look out onto the lake every morning. Jeff and Lindsay were great and always available if we needed anything. Awesome place to stay!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the white cabin. Jeff and Lindsay are great hosts and were very responsive to questions. The fireplace was already lit when we arrived, which was very nice. There was uncertainty as to whether the pontoon would still be available in mid-October but we were fortunate that it was! My dad enjoyed being able to go out and catch some large mouth bass. We will definitely be back again!"

"This was our third year staying here. It is the perfect location to be able to fish many lakes. All the amenities of home. Close to two towns if you do need anything and many miles of paved bike trails, which we have also enjoyed. Planning another trip next year!"

"Great fall weather with great views of the lake. Our family truly enjoyed staying at Emily Lake Shores while biking at Cuyuna. Nice kitchen and dining area for our pasta dinner. Would definitely come back and take advantage of summer time on the sandy beach. "

In between table tennis and a soak in the pool, we enjoyed bike rides in Walker on the Paul Bunyan and Heartland Trails. Andrew was an awesome host too!!"

"My sister and I, both in our 80s, returned to the lake where we spent or summers growing up. This place was just down the road from the house our parents built. The weather was fantastic for September as we visited the many places of our youth and met with friends still in the area. The house was a great location for our travels and it had a wonderful deck overlooking the water and golden sunsets. Memories revisited!"

This cabin's location is better than the photos in many ways, it's relatively private from the surrounding cabins and has a great overlook on the lake that's partially obstructed by trees, which I thought was a good thing (less boat noise from the lake).
