The house is spacious and beautiful. The location is amazing with a view of the ocean, fascinating rock formations across the street, and very close to activities in Bonavista. The host provided everything we needed and was very responsive and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It was absolutely stocked with everything. Loved it's location on the coast shore and there was always a beautiful breeze, especially in the evening and when the tide was in you could hear the waves. Loved it's location to Bonavista town, as there were so many places to visit and places to eat. My only disappointment was we wished we had more time there.

Perfect hosts

Our host were welcoming and helpful during our stay, not only that, but they invited us down to the ocean side to watch capelin spawn and taught us many Newfoundland traditions…the house we stayed in gave us ocean view and we watched whales, loons and gorgeous sunsets. It was a perfect stay!

Loved the yellow cottage!!

Sheila was a great host! All the little details were very much appreciated!! The cottage has amazing character and we found having 2 bathrooms a real bonus. Highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic Newfoundland experience in the Bonavista area!! Thanks Sheila!

This was a beautiful property! We each enjoyed having our own rooms and a whole home. The Wi-Fi didn't work but somebody more tech intelligent than me could have probably got it working. The ares was on a boil water order and the host brought in a water dispenser/cooler so we didn't have to boil water. Super helpful!

Disappointed

House was very clean,we were very disappointed that the washer wasn’t working,and we understand that they were waiting for a part,but we would have liked to have been given notice sooner with an option to stay somewhere else; especially when we had 5 days of dirty laundry to do. We had no television or internet services either;I contacted the host and was told that they had problems earlier in the week; which we also weren’t informed of. We feel we should have been given the opportunity to stay somewhere else or at least given a refund of some monies paid.

Coastal house

Great location which allowed us close proximity to bonavista township. We even happened to spot whales off the coast that evening! Kids loved the stock of games. Was a bit hot in the bedroom withouth direct windflow, a fan would have been handy but it was unseasonably warm.
