"Our stay at Villa Cayo exceeded expectations. We stayed in one of their separate guesthouses. Sitting on the comfy Adirondack chairs watching toucans eating fruit from the tree in front of our guesthouse was magical. "The listing does not show the cabana in question. As we were the only guests at the time, we were given the option of 2 different cabanas neither of which matched the pics in the in listing. The cabana we ended up with had 2 very tiny bedrooms with no place to put our luggage. The washroom needed upgrades as the shower head was hanging on for it's life. "We had a wonderful time in San Ignacio. The check in was simple and the house was clean. We booked our excursions through the owners and received a discount. Onil was our tour guide for all the excursions we did and he was incredibly knowledgeable and fun. The pool was nice to lounge in after a full day of fun in the sun. "

"This place truly had it all Beautiful home and property- spacious and lovely environment to hang out inside or outside Wonderful staff- Elias and Betty were so kind and attentive, gave great recommendations, anticipated our needs and went above and beyond DELICIOUS food- seriously some of the best meals we’ve eaten, for every single meal. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Pine Tree Villa. The space was clean, comfortable and convenient. The home is a 30 minute walk from central San Ignacio, so the neighborhood is quiet but it's still easy to stop by town."

"The place was big, beautiful tile and wood work. No hot water, hard to find, no one to meet us, had to hunt down someone to open it. Stove did not work. Not enough blankets. Beds were uncomfortable. Neighbors were noisy until 2 p.m. Mortorcyles came by at 4:00 a.m. making a lot of noise. Would not stay there again."

"Excellent stay here. The seclusion in the forest is a major plus. Best mixed drinks I had during my whole stay in Belize, including on Ambergris Caye. Food was excellent and home cooked. "I don't typically write reviews but I have to hand it to the staff at the Blancaneaux Lodge. Flawless service, kind, friendly and helpful at all times, in every area of the resort. The place is truly magical, and their incredible staff are the secret sauce. The property is top notch, but warm and authentic, not ostentatious or showy. My family felt immediately at home.
