"You stay for the incredible 180 million dollar view of the lake, the trees, the snowcapped mountains (at the end of June), a variety of birds (including an eagle), critters, and even a young buck...plus the starry night (the Milky Way was directly ahead of us!). Bring binoculars and a telescope if you have one! There are so many ways to enjoy the Sierras and we've done many, from a tent trailer to a cabover camper, a motorhome, and renting a 5th wheel. "Charming and clean unit with lots of thoughtful touches and comforts of a real home. Cozy blankets, puzzles, toys for kids, smart tv with streaming channels, kitchen supplies, etc. Unit has a nice balcony with a view (and grill that we didn't use but appreciate was there) and a convenient mudroom at the entrance. Check in was a breeze and property manager was very welcoming. Great location: just behind June Pie and Balanced Rock Grill (both delicious). Will definitely be back when we can! "
