"Not so nice experience in the beginning but gets better after that. Disappointed that there are no 1. welcome email prior to arrival 2. not even a welcome card from the resort GM. More disappointed to know, there is no GEM appointed to our room. "Rooms are large, well furnished and very clean. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, although I think might not have english speaking staff member that you might find in a large chain hotel. Food is all made by the onsite chef, and while a bit limited in choice, is very tasty and not too expensive. The only potential downside is that as a retreat type property, it isn't located in the nearby city. If you drove in your own car or rented car, then no issue. But the only easily walkable local...
