Some Issues Here
Would not stay here again. The problems are related mostly to the upstairs bedrooms and the linens. First, some positives: As the pictures show, the downstairs living area is nice looking. We did not cook other than to make coffee, so I can’t comment on ease of using the kitchen. There was a bag of ground coffee available. I appreciated that the owner agreed to a late checkout as our flight wasn’t departing until 17:00. The bedrooms are located upstairs. There are no bedside table lamps in the larger bedroom, but there are 2 metal bedside tables that are rusty. There is no closet in that bedroom or anyplace to stow your luggage. Bedding problems: king size bed in bedroom 1 had one twin size duvet with just one pillow. the duvet was covered in a scratchy seersucker fabric. The queen bed in the adjoining bedroom also had one narrow duvet and it had NO pillow. All of the pillows are thin and have seen better days. There were some extra linens thrown haphazardly on top of the 3rd bedroom bunk bed but no pillowcase on the extra pillow, and no duvet covers for the extra comforters (no top sheets as is common in Europe). The shower leaks so you’ll need to use the thin bath towels to mop up the lake when you get out. No body wash or soap (there is liquid hand soap for the sink, and there were a variety of shampoos that may have been left by previous guests. The upstairs smells strongly of mildew. Beautiful Clean and Close to Downtown
We enjoyed our stay here. It was a well kept place. Having a place to park in a busy neighborhood was very helpful. Everything was what we needed with the gunner of beds and kitchen. Perfect for a family!

Cozy house near downtown
My 4 friends and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. There were 3 large bedrooms and a very large bathroom, so we never felt like we were on top of each other. The house is walking distance to a small grocery store, and we were able to walk downtown each day (~15 min walk). The instructions from the host were clear - we had no issues during our stay. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location!
Centrally located and close to both stop 8 or stop 9 if booking transport. The beds were very comfortable and the house worked perfectly for our visit. The back door was a little tricky so appreciated the instructions.

Cosy flat in the center of Reykjavik
We had a nice stay with four adults and two children. We found everything we needed at the accommodation. The flat is very cental, Hallgrimskirkja is only five minutes away.

Comfortable and close to town
My friends and I enjoyed our stay in Reykjavik. Thanks to Ulli for a seamless check-in/out experience at this beautiful and homey space. Our group of 5 guests comfortably fit and enjoyed the amenities including the dining area, bedrooms, laundry and parking space. It was very convenient to drive 8 mins away to town where all the restaurants and shopping were nearby. If you book the Sky Lagoon (great experience IMO), it's also a 12 min drive away. Thank you Ulli for allowing us to stay at your wonderful space. We enjoyed our first time in Reyjkavik and would definitely be back!

Perfect 2 days in Reykjavik
We spent two days in Reykjavik at this property with our family of five (3 teens). We were able to experience the city by walking anywhere we needed to go (bus stops, downtown, grocery store, restaurants), all very convenient. Ulli was a gracious host and the apartment was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful home with a lovely garden
Ulli's property is beautiful - very central but just outside the hustle and bustle of the inner city so quiet and spacious. The beds were very comfortable - and windows equipped with blackout coverings (which helps in June when there's 24 hours of daylight). The garden is such a great aspect of the space. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Location!
Great location - only 10-15 min walk to town and there is a large park nearby. We were 5 adults and all of us agree the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in the upper level which included free on-site parking. Host is very responsive. We would recommend this property!

Wonderful location just steps away from the noise and fun of downtown Reykjavik. Perfect for 4 people. Comfortable beds and seating in living space, though larger groups might need more space in the living room. This place is always fully booked, for good reason. Cleaning staff could do a better job on the shower area. Clearly a mildew problem that could be easily fixed. Otherwise five stars.

No Bedroom Closets or Shelves
Nice home in good location. Well decorated. Don’t rent unless you like living off the bedroom floors. And there isn’t much of that since the bedrooms are quite small. The off street parking space was handy.
