First of all, don’t expect to communicate with the property host effectively. We did not get check-in information until 30 minutes after our check-in time, and that was only after about an hour on the phone with VRBO reps. I messaged the host twice the day of arrival (at least 5 hours before check-in time), and did not get a response. I tried to call, and it went to a voicemail that was not set up. The VRBO rep was able to reach the host and we got a message shortly after. In the meantime, we were delayed in leaving and missed out on team events.
As for the property itself…. It was the perfect location for the baseball tournament we were there for. The house (a small mobile home) offered a master bedroom which had a very firm and uncomfortable bed. The lights in the master bedroom that are worked by a switch seem like a fire hazard because they don’t always work, and sometimes work when you flip the switch off. The TV didn’t work either. The second bedroom had a sufficient bed for one kid. The pull-out sofa had a horrible mattress on it so my son just slept in the couch itself. The bathroom is small, hot water doesn’t last long, and we were provided a partial roll of toilet paper and told to provide more if we needed it, as well as our own bath towels. We also were told to provide our own paper towels in the kitchen if the one (again, partial) roll was not enough. The Keurig in the kitchen had a leftover k-cup in it and the water tank was disgusting. I didn’t even bother to look at the other coffee pot. There was also a half eaten watermelon in the fridge (which we left there).
It allowed us a roof over our heads for the weekend, and free Wi-Fi which was helpful since cell coverage was super spotty all over. I’m sure there are TONS of other options and better guest experiences in the area. I DO NOT recommend this place.
