We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin! It was clean and well maintained and stocked. The hot tub, river access, hammock, and swing were enjoyed by our whole family! We wished our stay was longer and we would return in a heartbeat.

The location was excellent specially being on the river. Very peaceful & serene. However, the house left much to be desired. There was septic tank smells in a few places in the house. The animal heads & skins on the walls were way too much. It seemed like they tried to fill the walls and overdid it. This part was the most undesirable. In fact if we had to do this again we would not pick this place. Overall it was clean. Luckily we were only three of us so the space was enough. We did a lot of hiking & outdoor activities so we’re not home too much. All in all for the quality of the house the price was too steep.

Wonderful, relaxing getaway by the river is what we needed! Beautiful, cozy cabin with updated bath and kitchen had all the conveniences to make it enjoyable. Spent a chunk of time on the expansive deck watching (and hearing) the river flow by. Remote but convenient to town. Nice! Will plan to stay again.

A little piece of heaven on earth

Pros:Very relaxing place to rest, mediate, cook and sleep with the sounds of the river and nature.Cons:The septic system its in need of urgent repairs. Toilets wont flush properly. The trophies on the walls are smelly and sad to look at.I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family.

Beautiful property

The location is absolutely beautiful. The cabin was cute and had everything we needed. If you have equilibrium problems you might have a hard time as the cabin is pretty uneven. The hot tub probably needs to be drained and refilled. It had a lot of debris but was enjoyed none the less. Our biggest issue was the water. It smells horrendous so you are going to want to bring bottled water to drink and expect a smell from the water when you shower. The deck was amazing and we were lucky with some nice weather so we could enjoy that and the BBQ grill. We also enjoyed the fire pit down at the river and the swings were a hit with my kids. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Fun Cabin Weekend

Super cute property with gorgeous river views. I rented the place for a birthday weekend with friends and we had a great time. The location is fantastic and even though the place is close to the road, it doesn’t feel that way with the river so close. A few pieces of feedback: a real sponge would’ve been nice to do dishes (we were left with only a magic eraser), and the two top bunks need new slats which would make the beds much more comfortable. Also, make sure you check the hot tub right when you arrive, if it can take a while to heat if it needs to be restarted.

Our summer stay was great! We spent most of our time outside on the deck, in the hot tub, or exploring the river. The sound of the river was incredibly relaxing. Other reviews have mentioned the hot water having a smell & the house not being super clean but we had a great time anyway. We would love to come back & stay again!

Cute, rustic cabin

Our family of 6 (kids age 16, 12, 9, 5) stayed here for 3 nights while exploring the Mt Hood area. The cabin is very rustic & cute, but not so much elegant. Some of the furniture & linens are showing signs of needing to be replaced & it would have been nice to have some plastic glasses/cups for the kids & out in the hot tub. Hot tub was a big hit & being able to relax in it while listening to the river was perfect. The location of the cabin was awesome with the river right in the backyard next to the fire pit & some yummy restaurants a few minutes away. One thing to note is there are a lot of stone steps down to the river/fire pit that can get a bit slippery & scary in the dark. Definitely need to use flashlights or lanterns to safely get down/up at night. Overall our family enjoyed our stay.

Cabin paradise

If you want the coziest cabin this place is amazing. Partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and loved going from the hot tub to the water for cold plunges and then back to the hot tub! Get yourself some firewood and plan to get snuggly in mt cabin vibes!!

The setting outside was beautiful, but the inside was not very clean, dark and felt different than the photos represented. Lighting in the kitchen is really bad, floors were dirty, leaves and bugs on counters and beds.

Amazing location under the trees

This is a great rustic cabin on the river. The location is amazing and perfect for the 4 of us. The cabin is definitely older. The weather was warm so it was great to have the doors open and hear the river. People complained about the smell of the water but I think that’s just the way it smells there on the river. We brought bottled water and water jugs. There were a couple bags of ice in the freezer for us which was nice. If you love being outdoors and hiking, this is the place for you!
