Richmond stay
The property was very pretty and clean inside; it was also very well stocked, we had everything we needed. I definitely would recommend. We traveled to Chesterfield for a funeral and could not find a good place to stay in that area so we decided on Richmond. It was close and stay was very pleasant.

Lovely home! Excellent location!
We traveled to Richmond to visit my son and his wife, who lived a block from the property. The home was decorated beautifully and charming. We loved the screened-in porch and the balcony, where we enjoyed having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The neighborhood restaurants were delicious! We will be planning a trip back soon! Thanks for hosting us!

Church Hill Dream
Really enjoyed our stay. The place was great and plenty of room. Clean and updated with several balconies. Neighborhood's was safe and many places to eat close and walkable. Several parks nearby and the James River walk/Browns island was a short drive.

A Richmond Get Away
Church Hill townhouse was perfect for our family plans. Great location to walk to local restaurants and scenery. We specifically came for a family Thanksgiving gathering. Having a full kitchen was important and so many small personal touches throughout created a home away from home e perience.

Perfect Accommodations!
We enjoyed our weekend in Richmond, and we found our accommodations to be nothing short of perfect! This property met and exceeded our expectations. We found everything to be neat, clean, efficient, and comfortable. I wish every travel experience were like this one! My highest recommendation goes to this property and the owners. Great Location - Beds and Pillows Leaving Something to be desired
The location was great and we enjoyed our stay. The only improvement I would recommend is to upgrade the bed in the middle bedroom, both mattresses and the pillows. One bed was very hard, just add a topper and the other was so soft you rolled to the middle. I don't recommend the place for people with children as there is no way to block off the stairs and the downstairs residents might not appreciate the children running around. As for the property managers, they failed to respond to my email sent 4 days in advance, they also failed to send information to access the property (I checked my spam too). Luckily about an hour before we were supposed to get in they gave us the number for the local lady and she was super helpful. I believe her name was Lisa and I can't give her enough kuddos. Despite the above issues, the place was super clean and we had a nice time. Location was central but quite in the evenings and neighborhood felt very safe. The owners have done a great job with this VRBO.

Thanksgiving Week
We were greeted with a sign welcoming us to the property. It was a great location to our daughter's apartment. The only draw back is no dogs allowed although the renters below have a dog. I would stay here again in a heart beat if I could bring our very well behaved dog that stays in a kennel when we are out.

Great Property on Church Hill/Chimborazo Border
The property is beautifully maintained with very new, high quality appliances. Overall very comfortable. The back deck is great! Minor comment - Bedroom #1 (off the main street) has a comfortable mattress, but a very squeaky metal frame. Frame should be tightened or replaced. Any motion and you will be awakened. Moved to other bedroom and no issues. Another great feature is that there is an off-street parking spot available behind the property but some negotiation of tight alleyways is necessary. However, we found this was a bonus since street parking fills quickly and it may be difficult to get a street spot during peak hours (like everywhere in Richmond). Neighborhood of property is in a good, transitioning area but gets sketchy a street or two over. Owner was outstanding to work with and very responsive. Folio created by owner was easy to use and understand. Good restaurants available very close to the property. Closest grocery is the Clay Street Market. Despite the 4.4 star review on Google, there are better options. I recommend avoiding this spot unless you are desperate or lazy (I was lazy). It is more like a convenience store (high prices, little selection, bars on windows, and people loitering by entrance) than a market. The great parts of this property far outweigh any minor comments above. I would recommend this property and would stay here again.

Great place to stay!
This was a great hidden secret! When we were a bit late arriving host called to be sure we were ok. When we could not get gas fireplace to work, host came right over to get it working. the place is wonderful. If there was a small complaint it was just that the beds were a bit soft gif us but for others they will be perfect. Thank you for such a great stay. We will be back!

If you are going to Rixhmond STAY HERE!
My husband and I felt at home the moment we walked in. Beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The location was perfect and walking distance to stores , groceries and wonderful chimborazo park. Both the screened porch and outdoor deck were so very comfortable to enjoy morning coffee and nightcaps! We had no problem with parking on the street when running around town and the designated parking gave us ease to know we would have a spot either way! I had no problem getting in touch with the host once we arrived and cannot thank them enough for the hospitality!

Bed not fit for purpose
The apartment itself was fine but both beds were really poor. The metal bed was so noisy and creaky it was impossible to sleep on it. The other bed was a memory foam and just not comfortable. Watch out for the dog dirt in the back garden which is left for day on end.

Chill Vibe
Chimborazo park, historic stately homes, and cool restaurants are all within walking distance of the Churchill charmer on 32nd. The townhome is beautiful and nicely decorated. Accommodatioms were clean, well appointed, and cozy. The back deck is the cherry on top. Lori was gracious and quick to answer any questions. A porch light for late check-ins would be greatly appreciated! Highly recommend, and will make this our go to stay when visiting Richmond.

Super cute & well appointed!
We loved our stay! We were welcomed with a sweet message, champagne and snacks from the owners. The house has so many cute touches - make up towels, travel sized toiletries you can use in a pinch, coffee, creamers and sugars, mints next to the beds! The owners do a great job of making sure you’re taken care of! The neighborhood is quiet and quant. The house is within walking distance of a coffee shop, cute restaurants and bars. You can walk to downtown Richmond, but we took Ubers to save on time (& our legs, Richmond is a hilly city). The Capital building is about a 5 minute ride from the VRBO. Ubers are super easy to get, we never waited more than 3 minutes. Communication was great, all instructions for accessing the property were clearly communicated. Check-out instructions are in the kitchen, which made check out easy (no digging through emails to make sure we didn’t miss anything!) Would definitely rent this property again!

Clean, Cozy and Comfy
We loved this clean and cozy space in the heart of the Church Hill neighborhood. There are some excellent restaurants within walking distance, and the rest of Richmond is only a brief car ride away. The roomy decks (plural) were just as advertised. Parking was easy and the host provided wine, coffee and even snacks for guests. The stairs might be tough on anyone with mobility issues but they were just fine for us. The master bed was super comfy, although that front room gets very bright early in the a.m. The only downsides were that there weren't a lot of dishes (if we'd wanted to eat in) and the bedroom fireplaces were not working. Certainly not necessary, but would be good improvements to make. All in all, a great spot!
