This was our 2nd year in a row visiting and the house was just as great as before. The host is very easy to get in contact with and accommodating. They answer all of our needs in a timely manner. The neighborhood remains quiet and safe and the neighbors are friendly. The house was very well cleaned and stocked and remains in great condition with all amenities. I am definitely happy we were able to stay here again because it made us feel safe to know we didn’t need to be concerned with much. Thank you again for hosting us and we hope to visit again next year!

Work trip

Property was great for our work trip for 4 adults Close to downtown and access to 64/95Lovely street but a few blocks down it gets a little sketchy but at no time did we ever feel uncomfortable. Beds super comfortable bathrooms so nice Thank you for having coffee stocked Would definitely stay again!

Exceptional Stay - Highly Recommend!

This property was an absolute gem! From the moment we booked, communication with James, the host, was easy and excellent. James was incredibly responsive and provided all the information needed for a smooth check-in and stay. The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we could need – it truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax. We especially enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, allowing for evening walks and restful nights. This property exceeded our expectations in every way and we can not recommend it highly enough. Thank you to the wonderful host for making our stay in Richmond so enjoyable!

A gem!

The house is very impressive! Has absolutely everything you would need. You won’t want for anything. It is located just right in the nicer part of Richmond which is great but do be mindful that if you turn a corner one way or another, you should be careful. It was very easy to communicate with the host and they were very accommodating. I informed them of a few cleaning issues and they offered to send a cleaning crew while we were there but we took care of it - it was just because it wasn’t occupied in a while so a few cobwebs, and minor dust. But the house is definitely beautiful and with a new deep clean, it would be absolutely perfect. That’s why I gave it a 4. I look forward to my family staying there again because the house is definitely a gem and the host is very responsible, accommodating, helpful, understanding and friendly. They really made our stay that much more better and for that I say thank you.

Just what we needed

Our family stayed at the property for 7 nights. We couldn't have been more pleased with the comfort, cleanliness, and quiet that we experienced while we were there. It had everything we needed. We spent quite a bit of time between appointments relaxing on the shaded porch, watching the neighbors stroll by with their strollers and pets. The neighborhood certainly wasn't what you'd call upscale, but it was quiet and felt quite safe. The property isn't really within walking distance of anything (there a little bodega a couple of blocks away that could supply basic needs in a pinch) and we had to drive to pretty much everyplace, but it wasn't a problem. The property is only 10 minutes from downtown and not much farther from shopping, dining, and other amenities. The property owners/managers were super responsive and communicative, checking in and accessing the house was a breeze. Only one caveat: the property description says it sleeps 8, and there certainly are 4 bedrooms with king beds. But 8 people in this this house would be way crowded. The kitchen table only seats 4 and there is only a couch and two chairs in the living space. So just be aware. Bottom line: this was a really positive VRBO experience and we would not hesitate to book the property again.
