The property was absolutely charming! I loved the walkway going into the house, the garden is beautiful and welcoming. I also loved the bathroom of this house, it was vintage and very fitting. This place has all the amenities that anyone would need: microwave ,mini fridge, stove, cooking and dining accessories, and a full bathroom!

Riddle Gem
Lovely one bedroom side-apartment. Nice, well stocked, kitchen. Cozy living room with a wonderful view of the lovely, lush, well maintained gardens. Comfy bed that is in a quiet country setting. We felt safe and protected with the owners next door. We would gladly stay again.

beautiful, relaxing setting
What a relaxing place to stay. The yard is so beautifully landscaped and cared for, it would have been more enjoyable to spend time just walking around and sitting on the front porch to enjoy the calming atmosphere. My husband and I stayed just 3 nights but we went there to spend time with my cousins that were staying elsewhere so we seemed to be on the run continuously. The cottage was well stocked and the owner was so thoughtful in providing luxuries that most VRBO owners do not. I have rented from VRBO for over 30 years and never have ice, cold water provided and dishes done by the owner by just putting dirty dishes on a silver tray in the laundry room. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

A garden in paradise
This was the most beautiful property we saw on our trip. The host was very friendly and accommodating and gave us a tour of her amazing garden. We loved the living space, which had all we needed.

Love this Quaint Apartment
This is my 2nd stay here. The first time i was traveling solo to visit family in this area. Kathie, the host, was very accommodating and went the extra mile to ensure that my stay was pleasurable. This 2nd stay, I brought two of my sisters as we were having a Sisters' Reunion with another sister who lives nearby. Once again, Kathie made our stay so pleasant that we will recommend her adorable "cottage" style apartment to others. She is a wonderful host!

Lovely and peaceful stay
This was my first Vrbo stay and during a chaotic time of moving. Kathie is a communicative and welcoming host and the property is beautiful. I had my dog with me and he got fussy about sounds from the main house shared wall, but I was able to turn on the heater and that made some white noise and we both had a nice rest. I had to change my dates of stay and that was easy to do for this reservation. Would definitely stay again here!

Wonderful Mother-in-Law's Cottage
I adored this property! The property is well-kept and the bed was very comfortable. The hosts are very attentive to their guest's needs and made my stay very pleasurable! I definitely recommend this property for 1 or 2 people.

Two nights here with peaceful environment and good rest
Great place to stay. On our way to Disneyland and heading back home from Disneyland. All the things that truly matter such as safety, peace and a good nights sleep are found at this property. Thanks for offering a dog friendly VRBO. Speaking of dogs if you have one that is not used to hearing sounds from their adjoining home- just a heads up. Their dog was very quiet. Ours was the one that would occasionally bark because of it.

Kathie was a great host. She gave clear directions on how to get there and showed us around when we arrived. The place was super cute. A friend and I drove up there to see the annular eclipse. It was cloudy when we woke up so we left early in the morning to find a less cloudy space. If it hadn't been cloudy, her wonderful property would have been a great place to see the eclipse.

Pros & Cons
First the Pro's then the Cons Pro's were that Kathie is a very nice person. Her husband equally as nice. Very open area to walk around, a quiet area. Comfortable bed, clean throughout Cons to me outweighed the pluses 1. I stayed 2 nights and two days. Day 2,someone entered the premise without my permission and placed the shower mat in a different location. I showed the owner a picture of the issue. She admitted that she went into the premise (without notice) to inspect the place. She then showed me a clause in the rental agreement that gave her permission to do so. I brought to her attention that she could not enter the premise unannounced. She said she would look into making a change, but did not admit to any wrong doing. CAUTION! Be aware that as things stand, she can come into the place AT WILL as long as it is within a 24 hour period. # 2.. The owner has 2 dogs. There is an interior door separating your place from hers. You can hear conversations as well as the dogs barking which caused my dogs to also bark consistently on day 1 It is not 100% private in terms of being heard and the owner being heard. To me, it was to close for comfort. Also, the entryway to the rental unit is the same entry way the owner uses to get into her home, so both parties can see each other coming and going as the window curtains at her place were open in the living room with a direct view of the walkway. I am calling it as I see it. Some people may not mind, but I did...rob 9-15-2023

Beautiful valley
We met host Kathie right away, she showed us the apartment and took us down to the creek (a little drive down the road). Her local restaurant recommendations were great (esp Indian Taste Restaurant in Canyonville, we brought takeaway back to the apartment). Outdoor gardens are well tended and pretty, indoor space is comfortable for two. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the rural atmosphere and the beautiful scenic valley. Drove out Hwy 138 for hiking and a great outdoor lunch on the Umpqua river rapids at the Steamboat Inn. Next time we will come when the history museums are open and explore those.

Time in the country
The property was beautiful with lots of trees, flowers and wildlife. Enjoyed the quiet and the feel of small community activities. The bakery in Riddle was a wonderful place to visit and have breakfast and lunch. The hostess was knowledgeable concerning the area so visited a few of the small towns around the area.
