"My wife and I were biking the C&O Canal Towpath, and needed a place fo the night. This was the perfect place. Its close to a parking area to get on the trail. Exceptionally clean and neat. Parking is easy in the driveway. The fresh cookies were a nice touch. Double sinks in the large bathroom were very nice as well. It has all the things you would need if you needed to cook and stay longer. I would return and stay again if we come that way again. Thank you!"

"We enjoyed our stay. It is cozy but a great view. We liked the wood burning stove. We brought our own wood. There was some wood on the property but needed to be split. "This property was clean, modernly decorated and well furnished/supplied. It would sleep 6 but it is small. We were just the 2 of us and it was good. Like someone else said in their review, the neighborhood is not visually nice but the rental property itself is nice. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the hot tub. For an issue we had, the owner responded very promptly."

"Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!"

"We booked this property with the event of the polar express planned on Saturday. We checked in Friday night and the house was wonderful. I really enjoyed the journal that was left to write notes about guests stay. I thought there would be a lot more to do in town but we couldn’t find much of anything of interest at the time, so we ended up leaving early Saturday evening."

"Pros: Enjoyed staying at the property. Family enjoyed the peace and quiet. The screened in porch was particularly enjoyable, and the kids enjoyed going down to the little creek in the backyard.
