"I booked this adorable cottage because I was going to a dog show 20 miles away in Lima Ohio. Cyndi, the host, came over to check us in and chat. Delicious brownies and other treats awaited us along with treats for Highlander, our Gordon Setter! Cyndi was over-the -top friendly and informative! I would highly recommend this rental!!"

"We stayed for Memorial Day weekend as a family with our two dogs. Listing was as described and we had no issues. Neighborhood is still a work in progress after the tornado with much clean up to do but we were warned and expected that! Host was very responsive to our questions."

"We met two adult children for a Father's Day trip for dad and this place fit the bill! Cozy beds and thanks for the treats at check in! Super cute kitchen, very clean and plenty of outdoor space to admire the fireflies in the evening. A short walk to the lake was nice to strech ourlegs afterthe car trip. Very quiet neighborhood, nothing weird or concerning."

"Had a weekend getaway for father's day here. The place was beautiful. Planned this trip more for the fishing and it did not disappoint. Caught plenty of catfish anywhere from 2 to 5 pounds. Used the kayaks one day and had a blast exploring the lake. Overall a great time. Thanks"

"What an incredible property! One of the best rental properties we’ve ever rented. From the vintage and new decor, well placed lighting, and comfortable EVERYTHING! The linens, bedding and bathroom were quite luxurious. The panoramic views from the front bay of windows made it so worth it. While we weren’t able to use the beautiful patio due to the weather, I’m sure we would have enjoyed that space as well. I highly recommend this property!"

"All was good. Lots of tall weeds along the walkway to the back sitting area. Also do not go across the canel were park benchs are, that is private property and the owers will let you know (no trespassing sings should be posted)."

"We had a wonderful time at Happy Harbour cottage. The cottage is adorable and beautifully decorated. We were within walking distance of several great places to grab a bite/drink. Owners absolutely wonderful!! We traveled with our cat, Frankie, who gave the place 2 paws up! We will definitely be coming back."

"We loved our stay at this house! It is updated & very clean. Only note I have is to be aware that the listing is not entirely accurate on number of bedrooms - it lists 4, but there are truly only 3 bedrooms. The 4th is a nook/loft space outside the primary suite on the 2nd floor (not a separate room/closed door option). We are flexible so no issue for us, but for those looking for 4 true bedrooms this would not be accurate. Overall, would recommend for a trip to Indian Lake & would stay again!"

"This property is very unique, as you would expect from the listing! The owners were easy to work with and very responsive! The place was very big for the cost! Just the Wife and I stayed even though it has 2 bedrooms because it is priced so reasonable! Very clean! Every amenity you could ever need for a rental was provided…even some snacks😆. We would definitely stay again if in the area!"

"We really loved this house. It met all our needs and then some. Very clean and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook. We did need to contact the manager of this place and she responded immediately. Met one of the neighbors and she was very nice. We asked her for recommendations on eating places and loved the place (Titlted Hilton) she recommended. We hope to visit this place again."

"Check in was very easy, the location is very very low key out in the country. The host’s were very friendly. Gave us a referral to probably the best BBQ spot I’ve ever been too for dinner, which was only about 10 min down the road. Make sure if you rent this cottage you make a stop at Uncle Beth’s BBQ. Definitely looking forward to going back next year and hopefully more years to come!!"

"We had a wonderful time on Orchard Island! Such a friendly area. Our trip was to see the eclipse and we were not disappointed. We would love to come back in the summer and actually use the lake! We were saddened by all the tornado damage in the area but Chris was so helpful about keeping us updated on the house and businesses in the area. We were happy to come and support the area."

"The staff was excellent. The walls/flooring are too thin so you can hear noises from nearby rooms and upstairs. Close to restaurants, but there's not much to do nearby, but you can find stores and Uptown within a short distance drive."
