"It is an old house, as stated in the ad. Some rooms had bad smell, especially the BR in the basement. Lots of room for everything. We had minor plumbing and electrical issues. Some of the bedrooms were inter connected, had privacy issues. Disappointed with the pool, as it was not clean despite the efforts from two people who came to clean it. Overall it was good!"

"The house is great. We enjoyed playing air hockey in the very nice basement. The backyard is amazing! Very big yard with pool and privacy fence. The lights in the backyard at night are beautiful and a great spot to relax and wind down. We loved it and already booked it again! The host is just great!"

"The only issue we had was that when we arrived it was extremely hot in the home and the air conditioners (window units) were also on. When we tried to turn the heat down, the thermostat was locked. I went back and forth with the property owner and he finally unlocked the thermostat remotely so we could adjust it. I've never experienced that before. "

"The home is a beautiful and clean updated Victorian in a nice part of town. My only concern is that the listing states it is a partial rental. Actually, one bedroom is owner occupied during weekdays. The owner was not there during our stay since it was close to the holidays. The owner was very gracious as a host but personally I do not like the idea of sharing common living spaces when I travel. This may be fine with some but I feel it is important to know fully when booking."
