"Everything was perfect! Having a boat dock in backyard was awesome! Our hosts were awesome and very accommodating! Really didn’t need anything extra! To wake up walk out into screened porch for morning coffee and watch nature was perfect! We will definitely be back! "

"The Blue Heron Cottage was an excellent stay for my family. While small, the property was big enough for us and two kids. The cottage itself inside was pretty new all around. The only thing that needs updating would be the shower. Full kitchen with oven and fridge was nice. Beds comfy. Property good for kids and a dog if you have one. The best part was the location. A block from the bay and three from the river. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us!"

"This cabin worked nice for our visit to the area. The hot tub was great. It was a little too hot to play in the game room very long. The spiral staircase is a little hard but there is the option to go down on the outside staircase. Overall we loved the stay."

"Our group consisted of six women who Attended JMU together back in the 70s. Everybody enjoyed the house tremendously. They felt it was a perfect venue for our get together. The only things we felt were lacking were towel racks in the bathrooms And little bars of soap for bathing. Otherwise, everything was perfect!"
