"Although we didn't get to meet our hostess, the owner/host and his staff were fantastic. The pub was cosy and clean and extremely reasonably priced and the service was amazing. Very pleasant and friendly people who genuinely cared about making our stay pleasurable. Absolutely recommend and should we find ourselves down that way again, we will most certainly stay here. "great stay. welcomed by the owner with a big smile and a laugh. hotel clean and best bed i have ever slept in , in a hotel.free bottles of water and biscuits every day. the only draw back was stairs but honestly get past that and youll be more than happy.paid 61 pound a night in centre of Torquay in summer. cant beat that price unless you pay for it in type of hotel you get but this is 5star for the price. keep up rhe great work👍"

"Excellent hotel,room was beautiful with garden terrace. Breakfast was very good especially the omelette thats a must.nothing was too much trouble. The hosts where lovely. I could go on all day writing good reviews but i need to learn how to make that omelette it was out of this world my hubby addicted. "

"Stayed 2 nights in twin room. The room was small ,however it had everything we needed. There was tea/ coffe/ hot chocolate available in the room that was replenished daily. The room was warm as we were top floor, but there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The bathroom was very small, and you may find a struggle if on larger size, however like rest of property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. "

"Lovely seaside retreat, perfect location and welcoming hosts. Breakfast was great and easy walking distance to the harbour. We had a harbour view room and the sunshine came through lovely late afternoon to enjoy whilst getting ready for the evening. Would highly recommend."
