"We have stayed in Sugar Mtn countless times over the decades, both in houses and condos, and we thoroughly enjoyed this round house. It was clean and well-stocked and having two toilets upstairs was nice. My husband and I (in our 60's) stayed in the basement in the bunk beds, a first, and we have never experienced a spiral staircase like that! For anyone very overweight or with bad knees, I would suggest you enter that room using the outside stairs from the deck and avoid the staircase. Despite...

"Very nice cabin in a quiet wooded area. Went with a dog and they had a very large dog lot right in front of the cabins. Nice quaint bar across the street, and a nice park down the street with river access. Quiet, laid back weekend. "

"We had a great time at the treehouse! There was more than enough room for my family of 5. We all had so much fun. Beautiful view. The only thing that i could say is. There wasnt enough curtains to cover all the windows. They had a sign that said leave door locked for bears (paraphrasing) and my kids were terrified at night. They were worried about bears looking the windows. LOL but thats how kids are. Also, my 4 year old came to the mountains dying to see Bigfoot. And they had Bigfoots height...

"Unfortunately, due to hurricane Helene, we were unable to spend the weekend at what looked to be like an adorable cabin for family weekend visiting my daughter at App State. Carra was very communicative as the weekend unfolded. This was an extremely sad and unfortunate situation and Carra was very flexible in trying to find us other accommodations but the storm just made it impossible to stay. We will definitely try again next year!"

"John is truly an amazing host. Thought we didn’t make it to the property due to the Hurricane, John communicated the entire time, kept me up to date with weather conditions and kept my family and I safety as his main priority. "This house is so nice! We loved sitting on the deck and listening to the river flow by. It was so peaceful and just what we needed. The house was very clean and well maintained. It was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. We did lots of fishing and town is minutes away with lots of great food to try.We will definitely be staying again. Thanks Diane and Richard for sharing your beautiful home."

"we really liked the privacy of the cabin we only saw 1 person our entire time at the property we also liked the overall appearance of the cabin I also enjoyed the firepit the only negative was the power was out all day and night in banner elk so we lost our dinner reservation for Saturday night but you can't control mother nature "

"Well stocked with everything you may need to have a great vacation. Love the layout of two bedrooms split by a tiny hallway with a bathroom. The other half of the cabin is a large open living room/kitchen/dining area. Quiet area with tons of deer that just graze right beside the road and don’t spook easily. Definitely highly recommended."

"We had an amazing time at this rental for a long weekend. The cabin is clean and has everything you’d need for convenience for a short stay. Back porch is such a little haven with the hot tub and the wildlife out in the woods. Felt secluded while still being very close to stores and restaurants. Also a very short drive over to Grandfather Mountain where we enjoyed a little hiking. The owner was incredibly nice and responsive and made sure to make our stay enjoyable. I can’t recommend this...
