The house is a perfect size for 2 adults with all that is needed to cook and have a few days out of the hustle and bustle. "Only issue was that the hot water was switched off and we hadn't been provided with any information about how to switch it back on again. We followed up with the owner once we discovered this and they were able to provide a PDF copy of instructions, which should have been emailed to us ahead of time but wasn't. This could have been remedied by providing a printed copy of the information onsite. Particularly important given there is no cell reception or wifi at the property."

"Lovely comfortable home for extended family stay. Once firewood was sorted (thankyou) fire was great for heating whole house. Spectacular views from main bedroom and lounge plus decks. "This home is beautiful and very accessible to the town of Christchurch and surrounding attractions. My children loved the pool and the kitchen was very user friendly and spacious. The only complaint was that there were not many hangers in each room and limited towels.
