"Arrived at the property and called to check in. Was told that property was closed for refurbishment and I had to go to a different property managed by them 15 minutes away. Got there and room was minimal and bare. Host was nice but it wasn’t an aparthotel as the original one was advertised as. I left and booked a night at a local Travelodge instead. "

Only a 5 min walk from the tames clipper boat taxi, that is about a 1 hr ride to the heart of downtown. 45 min by tube which was a 15 min walk away. We could only message hotel .com, but the staff told us just to wait until the morning on the check in day, it was so frustrating as we waited but they didn't contact us. "Cogimos un apartamento familiar, era correcto aunque esperaba más, es pequeño y el nuestro no tenia ninguna ventana, solo una puerta que daba a un patio de exterior que daba miedo. La responsable no habla castellano. Una cosa que me ha sorprendido es los comentarios de los usuarios referente a la distancia hasta la estación de tren, desde luego que no es para ir con niños, 10 min de noche casi en la oscuridad y no es de los mejores barrios...en fin, no volveré."

"The apartment was exactly what we wanted! It was comfortable and clean! The host was wonderful and had no issue with answering any questions we had! The apartment is so close to the high street - a perfect spot for nights out or just a quick visit to the center. "Buena opción económica con personal muy amable Nos hospedamos en el ibis London Budget Barking y, aunque es un hotel sencillo, el trato del personal fue excelente. Llegamos antes del horario de check-in y, al ver que viajábamos con nuestro hijo pequeño, nos permitieron entrar a la habitación de inmediato, lo cual agradecimos muchísimo a la recepcionista. La zona de Barking no es precisamente turística: tiene un ambiente más industrial y en algunos momentos se siente algo sola. No es peligrosa, pero no esperes el encanto londinense típico. En cuanto a la ubicación, el metro más cercano nos quedaba a unos 20 minutos caminando (lo hicimos sin problema con carriola). Desde ahí, el acceso al centro de Londres es bastante sencillo. La habitación es básica, como es de esperar en un ibis Budget: limpia, funcional y sin lujos. Por el precio tan bajo, no puedes exigir demasiado, y para quienes buscan solo un lugar económico para dormir después de explorar la ciudad, cumple perfectamente. "
