Gorgeous house for a girls weekend on the bay
I organized a large (15 person) bachelorette weekend at this property in early April. It is an absolutely gorgeous house and the host had a number of thoughtful touches - like extra firewood for the firepit, coffee supplies, and a bottle of bubbly for our bride! The beds were comfortable (even the twins!), which was lucky because one bedroom on the breakdown was not really usable, so a handful of guests relocated to one of the 'kid rooms.' We found Ashleigh very responsive both before and during our stay, and so appreciated her quick and thoughtful replies.

The house was interesting, it had some beautiful aspects and some strange needed updates. The owner/managers were very responsive to getting things fixed while we were there. Unfortunately, it’s late fall and most things in the town were closed so we ate in every night and cooked. House was well stocked with everything you could need.

Beauty on the Bay
My family of eight adults and eight children (age 2½ to 12) had a wonderful time for five days and nights in this high-end property right on the Chesapeake Bay. The views were incredible. We loved the flow among the high-ceiling living room, comfortable dining area and expansive kitchen. The pool was great, and it got a lot of use by adults and children alike. When they weren’t in the water, the kids played in the huge yard. This property is ideal for families with young children. Our first and second nights saw huge thunderstorms roll in off the Bay. Water came at the house sideways. There were a couple of minor leaks but no breakage. We had a small challenge with the pool cover and a freezer shelf, but the owner’s response was fabulously quick, and everything was rectified promptly. It was a pleasure to be there, and we recommend this property highly to anyone who wants to enjoy a beautiful modern house on the Chesapeake Bay.

Beautiful property
Beautiful property on the water with rocky beach. Ashleigh is a great host always available. Comman areas large, well situated and equipped with games. Pool great for kids. Kitchen areas large and well furnished. Bedrooms comfortable though a couple are awkwardly placed. Only one bathroom is ensuite.

Great family house
There were twelve of us who came together for a week in May. The house had plenty of room for all of us to have private comfortable space. Even though the layout is unconventional - entrance to one bedroom is from the outside of the house, another bedroom is entered through a second downstairs bedroom, a bathroom is located off the laundry room but it worked for us. Loved having multiple kitchens-three ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers. Wine fridge and bar sink were nice touches. There were plenty of plates, glasses, silverware for our large group. However the pots and pans need an upgrade to match the quality of the rest of the kitchen. Would be nice to have larger sized and better quality cookware to accommodate cooking for a big family. The setting couldn’t be more beautiful. An expansive lawn overlooking the water. Great sunsets from the patio. We loved the heated pool and outdoor space. The kitchen fireplace was the perfect gathering spot of cool mornings. The pool table and game table were enjoyed by everyone. There are two inflatable kayaks at the house to be enjoyed by guests. By the way, the beach and kayaks pictured in the listing are not available for house guests. Our host was responsive and quickly answered all questions and requests. She worked hard to make sure that questions were answered and any problems were addressed quickly. We had a great stay.

The space was perfect for our large group of 22. We actually overpacked b/c there were so many things available for our use: coffee, condiments, spices, etc. We had a really great time and would love to return for a longer stay.

Stunning Property, Amazing Time
This is simply a beautiful property. With gorgeous sunset views and a massive amount of space, we really enjoyed our time here. Without question it was the best equipped rental we've ever stayed at - everything you could possibly imagine from the kitchen to the game room was at our disposal. AMAZING SPACE WITH AMAZING VIEWS
We fell in love with this place as soon as we walked it. Super spacious with amazing views. We had about 20 people and everyone enjoyed the house. There was a lot of different things for everyone to do. Since we rented in winter Pool was closed and Hot tub ran into some issue but the property manager was super communicative during this time. They also provided some refund due to hot tub situation. Really great space to get together with some family and friends to spend time. We enjoyed it and we cannot wait to rebook it this summer.

Let me just start by saying the property is absolutely beautiful. Insanely cool view of the bay bridge with incredible sunrises and sunsets. The house is perfect for hosting a large group and Ashleigh really thought of everything (we overpacked because everything we needed was at the house!). We had a micro wedding here over the weekend with just our immediate family - the photographer was amazed by the lighting. Definitely gets chilly and windy on the water but we expected that for November. Would love to come back in the warmer months!

Couldn’t have chosen a better place!
I truly couldn’t have chosen a better rental. The photos don’t do the property justice. Enjoying the view from the pool or hot tub was very relaxing, and although the home couldn’t be more breath taking, it was second to the great customer service we received by the owners. You can tell that they truly care, which can absolutely make or break a vacation. Not only do I highly recommend, I plan on returning again soon!

This property and house are amazing! Ashleigh, the property manager, was easy to connect with and accommodating. Beautiful Bay Break !!!
What a beautiful place!!! When you walk into the house you are hit with incredible views of the bay!!! Every room has a view of the bay. Each room is beautifully decorated and the navy blue and white colors throughout give the place a feel of tranquility. There is a playroom with adorable wallpaper , 8 bedrooms that each have their own unique personality and an unbelievable kitchen in the large house, besides two other kitchens. We loved the game room and the glass passageway, which is a great place to relax and watch the boats in the bay. Every room in this house is beautifully decorated and is complete with every detail imaginable !!! The pool is beautiful and we loved the hot tub that is sunken next to it!!! The umbrellas and tables adorned the outside around the pool. There were bikes, kayaks, pool items , and a fire pit that were available which added to a fabulous stay here!!! Ashleigh is a great host and always was a available to answer any of our questions!!! If you happen to leave this incredible resort, a cute town is very close by!!! We will definitely rent here again!!!!

Reunion at the Bay Break
The Bay Break was a wonderful place for our small group reunion. The house was very clean and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Bedrooms were comfortable. Tables accommodated our group easily, so we were able to enjoy meals together. Still, there was ample room to spread out when we chose to do so. The new pool and hot tub overlooking the Chesapeake Bay provided relaxation and welcome relief from the heat of the day. Both sunrises and sunsets were spectacular! Our host, Ashleigh, was very communicative from booking to checkout and responded positively to suggestions we had, to make the Bay Break a truly exceptional place for a getaway! Our group agreed that we would love to return.

Perfect spot for our family vacation
This house had plenty of room and amenities for our large family. Parents of young children were delighted that they didn't have to pack as much because of the pack and plays, high chairs, and play room. We all enjoyed the pool, gorgeous views, as well as watching the eagles, osprey, deer, and frogs each day. We all loved our stay!

Excellent house for a family reunion
This is a great house with an amazing view! The pictures on the website accurately reflect the house and amenities. We had a family reunion with 4 siblings and extended family (total 17 adults). There were plenty of beds for everyone. Bedrooms were nicely done with microfiber sheets, pillows and blankets. Kitchen + Pantry were huge and plenty of room to cook and hang out. Living room had seating for all. The host was so kind and supplied bikes, kayak, basketball and footballs. Lots of great outdoor space including the firepit. AC was plenty strong to keep the house cool. I would highly recommend!! I would highly recommend this house for a large gathering.

Wonderful place to stay - beautiful view
The weekend stay was amazing from beginning with the initial booking to the end with an easy checkout. The property owner responded quickly to communications and made the trip stress free. The special touches of having supplies (soap, shampoo, coffee, chargers - just to name a few) was greatly appreciated. The property is very private and allows a family to enjoy without infringing on neighbors. Definitely recommend this property - we are already looking to when we can book it again

Just Perfection
The property was amazing! Plenty of space to collaborate and plenty of space for quiet or downtime. The 3 kitchens were absolutely necessary! The bathrooms (there were 5 full showers) were all beautiful. The owner was super quick to respond with any questions. Town was great, people were friendly and helpful. Awesome property in a great location. Perfect for hosting a big group (including kids)! The only (extremely small) downside is that there aren’t any shades so if your toddlers tend to be light sleepers, they’ll definitely be up early :)

Amazing Home, View & Experience!
This was our best VRBO experience yet. We fully enjoyed every inch of this stunning, clean, comfortable & spacious home! The view of the Bay is breathtaking, especially sunsets - can be seen from almost every room. The host has thought of everything and provides all bedroom, laundry, kitchen & bath supplies for the house - literally only needed our own clothes, food & drinks! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 18 people to be able to spread out as desired - all beds were comfortable - tvs are everywhere - lots of great games available for our days stuck inside with rain/wind/cold weather in March. ONLY 2 thoughts for improvement: more locks on exterior sliding doors, and more optional window coverings in bedrooms to keep kids asleep past sunrise. 😝 Truly worth every penny to have a wonderful whole-family vacation to celebrate our mom’s 70th birthday!!!!!
