My husband and I were attending the Michigan Cares for Tourism volunteer event in the Porcupine Mountains.
We came a day early and stayed a day later.
When I walking into this adorable, quaint house, I felt like I stepped back into my childhood. It immediately felt like home. We absolutely loved the nostalgia and all of the woodwork!!! I seriously did not want to leave. This home had everything you need and more. I loved everything right down to the vintage dishes! We loved everything about this home.
The house was absolutely squeaky clean!! Tina was wonderful! She was there when ever we needed anything. She was so very helpful in every aspect of our stay and she is so fun to talk to. Tina is a wealth of information, and we loved the store!!!
This was my husbands and I's 25th anniversary get away. We have never been to this area but I can tell you, we will be back. The home is centrally located on the east side of the UP and there is so much to do all around.
We didn't realize that two major waterfalls are within a half hour of the house. Agate and Bond waterfalls are a must see, absolutely breath taking and so very accessible for up close views and great hiking. Porcupine Mountains State Park is about 40 minutes away and WOW there is so much to see and do there, including Lake of the Clouds. An absolute must see!
Thank you for sharing your home and everything beautiful inside.
I took many amazing inside photos and I am happy to share if your interested.
