Paradise!
We loved our stay at Point of View! Exuma is breathtaking and we loved just sitting on the terrace taking in the view. For us the seclusion was exactly what we wanted and we would come back in a heartbeat!

Quiet and Private Home withan amazing view !
Clean and tidy with everything you need for 2 people. The view is amazing , need a car as its at the ens of the island and get your food and drinks before heading out. We didint mind the drive at all, great way to see the island .

Secluded Paradise
If you want a quiet place to relax and unwind, Point of View is the place for you. This charming sea side home has every amenity you need to unwind and unplug. We spent our days sitting on the porch overlooking the ocean, swimming and snorkeling right out back or near the pier to the north. One recommendation is to buy groceries in town and plan on eating most of your meals at the property. Another is to rent a boat from Minn’s for the day and explore the islands. Sophia was always responsive to questions and to provide information. We Loved our stay!

Our own little bit of paradise!
We can’t recommend ‘Point of View’ enough! We never wanted to leave! It was truly our own little bit of paradise! From the amazing views from the deck to the private beach area, from the beautiful and well equipped interior and comfy bed to the serene location… we couldn’t have wanted for more for our week’s stay on our honeymoon. We were so sad to leave! We have fallen in love with this island and recommend to any couples visiting to stay here. We kayaked off Exuma Point Beach and snorkelled and swam at Cocoplum beach & Hoopers Bay and saw sea turtles. We ate a lovely meal at Cocoplum Bistro and had drinks at Shoreline (amazing frozen rum drinks!). George Town is about half an hour away and there are plenty of supermarkets/convenience stores on route. It was a perfect location for us! A big thank you to Sophia for the stay. If we return to Exuma, we will definitely look to stay here again!

Spectacular Cottage by the Sea
A wonderful stay in a beautiful, bright and sunny cottage. Cozy, spotless and well appointed. The private beach is perfect. Everyone in Exuma is wonderfully friendly. The beaches are pristine. Will not disappoint! Be back soon!

Excellent House!
My wife and I stayed here and it was perfect. The house was up to date, clean and in a great location. We spent mornings on the deck or beach by the stairs before going on our excursions. We stayed 4 nights and the view from the deck never got old. Perfect size for a couple.

The most beautiful view!!!
The most beautiful views you could ever hope for! Not to mention the private beach! The stairs to the beach are well lit. The deck and chairs are an added bonus for lounging when you need a break from the sand. The gas grill works perfectly. This cottage has all the comforts of home. I did not want to leave but I will be back!!! Thank you Sophia and Don for letting us stay in your beautiful place in paradise!

Beautiful Views
Had the pleasure of staying at Point of View for 28 days. Our first time to Exuma and we had great time. Sophia and Don were gracious hoist and would highly recommend this cottage to relax and enjoy the island. The view from your bed in the morning was incredible to drink your morning coffee and stare at the clear water and catamarans anchored out. The cottage was well equipped along with a gas grill which we used a lot. The bathroom and shower was large and had plenty of towels to accommodate. Overall, this is a great place for a great vacation!

The Point of View was probably the best private home we have ever stayed in, over 55 years of travel, throughout the Caribbean and Europe. Sophia and her daughter were both very nice to us, quite lovely as well, and helpful. Most highly recommended!

Exuma a real paradise !!!!
To spend an unforgettable vacation, do not hesitate to choose Sophia's cottage for your stay. Well equipped, with perfect decoration, a spectacular terrace to disconnect from the hectic life of the city. A tranquility like in few places you can find, the beach just for one, I didn't see anyone around in the days I was there. I will be back soon !!!

Point of View was Perfect
What an amazing stay. It was our first time in Exuma. Sophia was outstanding. This was the perfect time for my wife and I for the week. Everything we needed was there. We did a little bit of shopping for the week and had plenty of leftovers. The house is perfectly equipped and an awesome location if you want to get away from everything. Throughout the week, I think we saw a total of three people on a little private beach. It was the perfect beach area for just my wife and I. The water is absolutely gorgeous, the bed was very comfortable and the view was indescribable. The house is furnished perfectly. We will absolutely come here again. We rented a car as you will need one. This is a bit remote as you are about 40 minutes from Georgetown. We found a few little bars to hang out but we made drinks at the house and grilled out. It is perfect. Do it! Thank you Sophia for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely Perfect!
This cottage was the perfect choice for us. It was very cute, comfortable, clean and private. The pictures really don't do it justice. The deck was much larger the we expected. It had nice comfy chairs to sit in the shade in the afternoon which was perfect to take a break from the sun and heat. Sofia was great to communicate with prior and during our stay. We sadly didn't get to meet her because she was out of town. But when we had a small issue with the TV, she had someone come over and fix it. She also provided beach chairs and an umbrella that we used everyday. The cottage had everything we needed including lot of really nice fluffy towels! Thank you Sophia,

The house was immaculate. The location was pretty windy & wavy when we were there in March so keep this in mind if you plan to kayak, snorkel or swim. We were glad to have a rental car: groceries are 40min away. Gorgeous beaches everywhere. Can’t get over the colour of the water & the texture of the sand.

We really enjoyed our stay at Point of View. The house was comfortable and perfect for a couple. Great deck off back with wonderful views of the water. We used the small beach area almost every day. It was a wonderful week!

Amazing Vacation
Had such an incredible stay at Point Of View. Beautiful home with incredible view as well as gorgeous private beach. A bit off the beaten path which is exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of small stores and wonderful restaurants close by for groceries and dinner. Rented a 15' Boston Whaler for a day from Island Exclusive Boat Rentals and Tours. Well worth every penny and they were so incredibly accommodating. They brought the rental boat to us from Georgetown. Highly recommend them for a boat rental. Point Of View is by far one of the nicest rentals we've had the pleasure of staying at with vtbo. Highly recommend this beautiful property. We cannot thank Don and Sophia enough for sharing their beautiful home.

Amazing views!!!!
We loved our trip! The cottage was on a quiet part of the island. It was a great size and exactly as shown in the listing. Just down the stairs was a great, virtually private beach! We only saw a couple of people walking along the beach over the course of the week. Otherwise, it was all ours!! The water was absolutely gorgeous!!! There was a great deck with loungers and chairs as well as beach chairs and an umbrella. Sophia was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all our inquiries/needs. The cottage is a bit of a drive to GeorgeTown, but we enjoyed the peace and serenity. Plus, we were closer to Exuma Water Sports, where we did our excursion, which was amazing! Thanks for a relaxing trip to beautiful Exuma!

Nice Beach House
Stay: 1 week in May 2022 Modern rental. Nice interior. It is advisable to rent a car. Things to consider: The beach house is at the very tip of Exuma. There is 1 road that will take you to the beach house. The road becomes 1 lane near the beach house. Driving to the beach house can be confusing because you must make a turn onto a 1 lane road. Therefore, I recommend arriving early in the day. -Go to the grocery stores prior to driving at the beach house because there is 1 restaurant in walking distance along the Beach. It was only open on Sunday and no other days of the week during my stay. Things to bring with you: -Kitchen towels from Dollar Tree (if you are from the USA), only 1 kitchen towel was provided and only 1 roll of paper towels was provided. Pay it forward and leave the Dollar Tree kitchen towels when you leave or throw them away. -Costco flushable wipes. The toilet paper provided was very thin. If you don't use the wipes, you can take them home with you. -Book light or Neck Light (look it up on Amazon) if you like to read in bed at night or on the couch. The beach house had 1 lamp in the living room area and the light bulb was low wattage which made reading impossible, I ended up using the flash light on my phone. -Buy Tide (or your favorite laundry detergent) in disposable pouches (available on Amazon). I took a 1/2 filled pouch with me and it was enough for a week. Everything on the island is expensive. Items were 3 x the cost compared to prices on the east coast (mid-Atlantic area) of the USA. -Bring spices, tea, snacks, ziploc bags with you. -Be sure to take before pictures of the beach house and after pictures in order to prove that you did not damage anything within the beach house. Send the owner pictures of any damage that you find. I found quite a bit of damage and sent pictures to the owner as discovered. -When arriving, take your luggage into the house via the back deck since there are a lot of steps at the front door. -Print out maps of the island and bring them with you, this will be helpful as you drive to various beaches and visit various sites.

Perfect secluded getaway!
This cottage provided the perfect relaxing getaway for me and my wife! It is on the northern tip of the island but if you are looking for seclusion with a private beach this place is perfect! Sophia is an INCREDIBLE host! She is extremely responsive and does absolutely anything she can to ensure your stay is as amazing as possible! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!
