Loved this house. Close to slopes and restaurants. House was perfect for our family. Light and bright. The owner/manager couldn’t have been nicer and accommodating! Would definitely stay here again.

Family Christmas Retreat
The house was beautiful and well stocked with all our needs, including wood for the fireplace. The host Gina was very warm, friendly and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect for our family.

Excellent stay at a beautiful home
The house is absolutely beautiful. It’s spacious and up to date. We especially liked the kitchen area. We reached out to Gina about hosting a small engagement celebration in the afternoon and she was so kind and generous to allow us to celebrate. The space was perfect and our guests had nothing but great things to say. I would highly recommend the home for family and friends and Gina was so great to work with and responsive for anything we needed.

Best 25th Anniversary/wedding week
We booked this home to celebrate our anniversary and our nieces wedding. The Fall foliage was absolutely stunning, this property is so welcoming with gorgeous views and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! The owners are such gracious hosts and their home is beautiful! We couldn’t have asked for a better location and we definitely will be back! Thanks for everything!!!

Spending a few days to enjoy the mountains, food, and wine. Very good accommodation. Plenty of amenities at the resort. Clean. Everything you need for cooking, playing and relaxing. Top notch communication with owners. Beautiful area. Highly recommended.

Mountain Magic
This mountain home atop Wintergreen Resort is perfectly situated. Beautiful trees with views of the golf course. The house is very spacious for a large group with a bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen has everything, including a cabinet with spices. Paper products, laundry supplies, tea, coffee and cocoa are there for your cleaning needs and caffeine fix. The garage is a plus for loading and unloading your car in rain or snow and there is a mud room for your boots and skis. There’s even several golf club sets with two push golf carts. DVDs and board games galore. We enjoyed The Edge and Copper Mine restaurants and the pizza at Fire and Frost is the best. For a nice view at lunch try the Stoney Creek golf club, Iron and Ale. Our visit was in the summer and Lake Monocan is a must for a picnic lunch and swim in the lake. Fun for the kids. This house must be amazing during the fall colors and perfect for snow season with the wood burning fire place—firewood provided. Do not hesitate to book.

Will stay again!
We booked this for our anniversary and were so pleased with our choice. This expansive property offers incredible sunrises and sunsets, a fully stocked kitchen, wonderful wood burn fireplace. I read 2 books during our 4 day stay while listening to the fire crackle. Great deck and veranda with grill. Everything was just as listed. The owner was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back and bring the kids.

Well equipped home
This is the best equipped home we have ever stayed in. From excellent kitchen pots and pans to a very well stocked library of books, movies and even Xbox games. We didn't play any games or watch any movies but they were there. We had an issue with the wifi but it was resolved extremely fast. Communications with the host were great. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

What a wonderful home in a beautiful setting. Every detail was carefully considered making this a perfect home away from home. Peaceful mountain summer stay
We really enjoyed our month stay in August at Hatheway Haven. The house is very comfortable and backs onto the golf course which was both peaceful and great for walks in the evenings. We also really enjoyed hanging out on the back deck, listening to the wind in the trees, as the weather was perfect-about 8-10 degrees cooler than down in the valley. There are 2 master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and a 3rd bedroom with a bathroom next to it upstairs. The house is set up really well for family gatherings. The kitchen is well equipped and very functional. The laundry room, mud room, garage, deck, and all the extra room we had were very nice. It was also nice to have a gas grill and thoughtful that there was an extra propane tank. There is a foosball table upstairs, a lot of board games and a large selection of DVDs. We also had Wi-Fi throughout the house. There are many hiking trails in Wintergreen, the AT and old AT are right there, and we drove to Piney River to bike on the Blue Ridge Railway Trail which was also very nice. Plus there are breweries, wineries, distilleries, etc. all around including the Devils Backbone Brewery which is close by, with good food and beverages. Also don’t miss Sweet Bliss bakery in Nellysford, next to the IGA, behind Chirios - great desserts, sandwiches. Gina Marie and their property manager Josh were both very good prompt and responsive with communicating with us. Highly recommend staying here!

End of Ski Season Weekend
Enjoyed a lovely family weekend! Home was nearly perfect for our group ranging in ages from 6 months to 73. Kitchen was well stocked with necessary items to accommodate a large family. The Pack n Play, Baby Bouncer, highchair and other toddler items were a big hit. We were able to use the garage for parking which helped out with our need to use multiple vehicles for varying arrival and departure schedules. Location was quiet and right on the golf course! Easy jaunt to the slopes as well. Property manager was responsive as well. Will certainly consider returning again.

Awesome Place
This house was very clean and spacious. Wintergreen events were within 5 minutes of driving. The host was very cordial. Great place for a weekend get-away. We have no complaints and would definitely stay here again.

Fall getaway

Weekend getaway
We picked our son up from Liberty and came up for the weekend to have a time of reconnection and celebration (it was his birthday!). The home was absolutely lovely. There is plenty of space for sleeping, playing games and relaxing. We went out to the golf course (right out the back gate) at night to watch the meteor shower... It was lovely. We enjoyed a great hiking trail and beautiful overlooks. Truly it was a refreshing weekend! I highly recommend!

The best getaway house!
This house is everything you want it to be and more. Beautiful views of the golf course, lots of trees for privacy, completely upgraded gourmet kitchen, large deck with furniture for coffee in the morning, PLENTY of room to spread out! The hosts were exceptional, and we wanted for nothing! Would definitely recommend staying here and we’ll be doing so again!
