"We rented the house for the weekend as we had an event to attend. We brought the family and two small dogs. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The lake was very nice and although we didn’t have time to fish, it looks like a nice place to relax and catch a few. The fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs. We didn’t have to worry about them running off. There are neighbors nearby but we never saw or heard them. Restaurants aren’t far away in Gilmer either if you don’t...

"The gated community is beautiful. With all the trees and large lot you can’t tell you have neighbors. Luxurious cabin. Very clean. Deer wander right up to the front door. Although we didn’t have time to use them, the community has lots of amenities. Golf, putt putt, pickle ball , private fishing lakes with docks and more. Will book here again. "

"We had family come in from out of town last minute and they didn’t want to stay in a hotel. Found them this very nice house on lake Hawkins and they really enjoyed it. They enjoyed it so much that they said every time they come out to visit they want to stay there again. It’s beautiful. The host is very friendly and very easy to talk to. The check in was quick and simple. My family had a great weekend stay. "

"I stayed 3 nights with my two grandsons we had a great time. We fished the near by lakes it’s best if you have a boat. On Saturday we drove to Lonestar to the water park on lake that was really nice. Great local restaurants food was great and the people were very friendly. Overall great experience. The only issue we had was barking dogs early in the morning. "

"We came to relax, read, walk, & spend quiet time together. The inclusive front & side deck is great! No steps headed to back of property. It was very easy to walk around the cabin & the back property was cleared way back into the neighboring trees. The available books & puzzles were a great selection. Our two dogs loved roaming & walking the paved streets. Very quiet area. Neighbors extremely friendly. We also enjoyed music with Alexa."

"What a wonderful week! We chose this spot on purpose for a week to celebrate my daughter‘s birthday and go fishing. When we arrived at the house, it was beautiful, clean and inviting. The caretaker was just a phone call away and very kind and helpful. it was a time of family and fun, and we will have cherished memories for lifetime. I would definitely recommend this location for a peaceful and fun getaway."
