Overall it was an outstanding place to stay. The only thing I didn't realize is there is only salt and pepper so if you need any spices, cooking spray, sugar packets ect, bring them along. We will return. Really enjoyed the front porch and down by the creek.

Great time
We had a great time in Rough Cut Lodge. The cabin was immaculate, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Its location was also great, surrounded by mountains, snow, and wild animals. Our only regret is not to have seen anybody at the check-in and the check-out. Everything was done online and remotely. We prefer to meet people.

Wonderful Getaway!
We rented for 3 days over Christmas, during a terrible storm, temperature was 3, real feel below zero! We were met with a blazing fire and the cabin was super clean and contained everything we needed. We stayed indoors by the fire the entire time. So much fun! We look forward to coming again when we can explore the beautiful surroundings!

Beautiful property close to amazing forest!
My husband, daughter, dogs, and I had a lovely long weekend here. The cabins are clean and well-appointed, the property is really lovely and has everything you could want, including fire pits, a volleyball net, and benches overlooking Pine Creek. Check-in and check-out were painless, and everything was as advertised (though the views were better than I expected)! We will definitely return when we are in the area again.

Rough Cut Lodge & Oak Cabin - perfect getaway
A very nice property in a great location. We had a great time at Rough Cut lodge, it's a very pretty place to stay right along Pine Creek. There are lots of nice amenities on the property to enjoy - fire pits, grills, picnic tables, games to play and a great stretch of upper Pine Creek to fish in and enjoy. The location provides easy access to all the surrounding attractions this beautiful area of PA has to offer. Oak cabin was the perfect "home' for our 4 person family getaway, we loved it. Thanks to all the staff for a great experience. John & Mary Ann

A cozy cabin on a really nice large property. Was a great field for my family to spend time outside by the river. Close to hiking, biking, and running trails. A good place to get away!

Great family location
My husband and I visited the property in the fall without the kids and knew they would love it here. We returned this winter and it was a huge hit with the kids! Perfect proximity to fishing and hiking as well of plenty of outdoor space on the property for two rambunctious kids. We look forward to seeing what spring and summer at Rough Cut have to offer!
