A little piece of Heaven
The cabin and the property was beautiful. We really enjoyed the fire pit and seeing the wildlife. The only downside was the cabin could use some closet space. I would definitely stay there again.

A Perfect Stargazing Getaway!
We stayed at this lovely house for our anniversary weekend, seeking a peaceful retreat to enjoy nature. The property exceeded our expectations! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, making meal prep a breeze. We loved spending time by the outdoor fireplace, relaxing on the swings, and sitting in the river. The highlight was definitely stargazing from the porch and the expansive field – the night sky was breathtaking! Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us; it made our anniversary truly special.

Vacation getaway
The location of the house to Cherry Springs State Park was perfect, and it was less than an hour to the Grand Canyon of pa . The house was fully equipped with everything we needed the only thing was the portable air conditioner was not enough to cool the whole place , fortunately for us it was not hot the whole time we were there. I recommend this place for your next getaway very private , clean and well maintained.

Unique relaxing property
Pros: The inside of the house was clean and as described. Kitchen pans, appliances and utensils were great. There’s a small portable icemaker (no ice trays) so bring a bag of ice if you need more. Only 1 portable A/C unit. Enough to cool a bedroom or the main area of the house. There are portable fans and the temperature cools down in the evening. Opening the windows helped. If you plan on sleeping in the loft in the summer, it will be sweltering. Fun property to explore. Sitting by the river was relaxing. Cons: The outdoor furniture cushions don’t seem to get stored away or covered at all so unfortunately we were not able to enjoy those spaces. The cushions to the porch couch were covered in dirt, mold and spiderwebs. The egg chairs were pooled with algae filled water. One cushion was torn and the chairs had spider webs all over them. The outdoor dining table was covered in bird poop due to a nest that was made in the light fixture above the table. So we were unable to sit outside and eat. The Adirondack chairs around the fire pit were ok. They had bird poop all over them too but we cleaned off a couple and were able to sit there. There were a lot of wasps around the house as well. The host was receptive and attempted to correct what issues we had but unfortunately there wasn’t enough time to take care of things since we were only there 2 nights.

long winter weekend
We had a great time at this house. We were close to PA Grand Canyon, Kinzua Bridge, and Cherry Springs State Park. ~ 1.5 hours to Saw Mill Ski. Fantastic stargazing on the property. House is clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. It snowed while we were there and I was nervous about access to the house, but owner had everything plowed/ shoveled before we arrived.

Fantastic stay! Will return to this property for more stargazing.
6 adults. The property was exactly like the pictures on the site. House was very clean, had comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchen was well stocked ( no food, but prep and cook items). Everything in the house was in working condition. The stairs to the loft and the loft were a challenge for our 6’2” friend, but he made it work. We were able to maintain a comfortable temperature by opening windows at night and using the air conditioner during part of the daytime. We gathered to celebrate the life of a friend who passed well before his time. It was a special time for all of us.

Amazing property
The property the house sits on is amazing. The house looks just as pictured in the photos. Everything you need to have a great getaway! My 18 yo loved the basketball hoop in the 2nd airplane hanger. You really have to explore the property to find the 2nd hanger and the river. I think the size of the property blew us away. Living area, kitchen and dining are all nice sized. The bedrooms are a little small but we figured we’d be outside most of the time anyway. There is only one portable ac in the main living area so the bedrooms do get a little warm. There are fans provided. We opened our windows and put the fan in the window and it was comfortable. Kinzua bridge is a must see!! Overall it was a great getaway for my friends 40th birthday!

Great Getaway!
The home is absolutely lovely and spotless! We enjoyed the seclusion of the home while still being in easy distance of town. Unfortunately for us it rained the entire weekend so we didn’t get to enjoy the amazing outdoor area - so I think we will have to make a return trip. :-) Due to the poor weather, a helicopter made a surprise landing on the airstrip, which our group really enjoyed seeing.

Great Location
The facility was fantastic! We had a great time and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and picnic shelter. The turkey yelps and gobbles added to the atmosphere. Thanks for arranging such great weather for us. It was worth the weather guarantee on the fee. The stars gave an awesome display.We had a hard time placing the swinging chairs all in the original position facing east. We will definitely rent the cabin again

Perfect little hideaway
This was our first ever stay at a VRBO property and we were absolutely impressed as to the accuracy of the description and cleanliness of the cabin. The pictures are exactly what the cabin turned out to be, which was beautiful, tranquil, clean and very relaxing. The beds and living room furniture were very comfortable and clean. The grounds were massive, private, and still secluded, which is perfect for those who want the utmost privacy. We stayed in March when it was still cold outside, but the baseboard heating and gas fireplace worked flawlessly. There was a portable ac unit in the closet, which appears to be the only cooling system in the warmer months. You may want to bring a a bag of ice. The cabin has a portable ice maker , but it may not keep up with a group, of 3 or more. There is no light pollution nearby, so star gazing is easy to do here if that’s your thing. One of the hangers was not open, but the smaller one had a concrete floor and had a basketball hoop setup inside (bring a ball pump to inflate). There was also gear for playing frisbee golf, but with all that land, you could play just about any outdoor sport you want! You will need to bring your own fire wood for the fire pit. We left a bundle of wood behind for the next guests, hoping to start a trend. The stream was beautiful and fast flowing when we stayed. It looked to be about 3 feet deep where the little bench was located. Because this property is situated at the bottom of a valley, the land is flat and there are some marshy, boggy areas around the property, but only on the outer edges. The property manager was also a big plus and was very professional and responsive to my messages. All said, we would definitely come back again! Thanks for making our first experience a great one!

Star gazing
We were able to see the milky way, jupiter and 4 moons and saturn while standing in the middle of the mowed airfield. The firepit was great and really enjoyed our time at the chalet!

Excellent Stay!
