We- all six of us had a wonderful experience. We were primary school friends, high school friends, university friends.
We wanted a relaxing, charming, peaceful location where we could wine and dine for the 3+ days.
Splendid views, solitude, spacious. Trissaro Lodge had it all.
But we struggled in one area. There were some great cooks in our group, so we celebrated with fine dining.
But at every meal, we used every plate, every platter, every wineglass, every bowl, every baking dish.
We beat the cream for the panacotta with a fork - by hand for over 50minutes. No whisk, not enough serving utensils, not enough plates, not enough cups. We truly used every item in the kitchen, Our only request is for more kitchen utensils and serving plates for the more domestic/culinary style guests.
But we loved our time and would love to come again.
