The cabin was cozy and far from rustic. Comfortable bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and living area with a big dining table and some comfortable armchairs, cute sunroom. We set the roll away in the sunroom, it had a pretty thick mattress. No bugs. I liked the big shelving for storage in the closets and pantry. It is a property with a few rental units and a shared common area nicely set up with several seating areas, screen houses, grills, a fire pit, chairs. The lakefront is large with a walkout beach for swimming and several kayaks, a canoe and peddle boats. People are doing different things so there’s plenty of room to enjoy. The lake when we were there was so quiet most days you could hear a pin drop. It ramped up a bit on Friday night but nothing like the more touristy lakes. Stunning views of Stinson Mountain over the lake. The area is one of the most pristine nature areas anywhere with hiking, swimming, boating, tubing, fishing, etc. there are grocery stores, charming ice cream shops, picturesque old town centers, antiques, within a short drive. We loved our stay here. The only tiny complaint we had was, as others have said, the windows in the sunroom. The view is absolutely breathtaking but it’s hard to see out those windows.
