Sisters 70th birthday trip
We had a great stay at Frankie‘s VRBO. She was responsive, very kind, and welcoming to us. She shared with us some of the sites and restaurants of the area and information about the ferries. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or host.

Wonderful!
The property was clean, comfortable, and well equipped for our sisters' weekend. The location is close to the airport and Butchart Gardens. We didn't mind the 20-30 minute drive to Victoria. Frankie was a great host. Beautiful yard, felt like home away from home.

The location and home were fantastic. It had everything we needed and Frankie was very kind and accommodating to all of our needs. Small touches for our kids like games, toys, and books made our stay particularly enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Perfect location
Frankie's house was perfect for our group of 3 couples. We chose her place because of it's location near Butchart Gardens and the Swartz Bay ferry. Frankie lives downstairs, and she was extremely friendly. We definitely stay there again.

Great location for access to the Commonwealth Pool for the BC winter provincial swim meet. Frankie's home was a terrific base for the back & forth for the swim events. The kitchen had everything to make our meals prep very quick & easy. Thank you Frankie for your recommendations for groceries & bakeries.

Lots of room in a lovely home
We stayed 3 nights while sightseeing in and around Victoria. Very accommodating host to us and her gardens and plants are spectacular! Clean and roomy home with all the things you need while traveling. We all noticed how comfortable the beds are! Easy to get to with shops and coffee nearby. Lovely stay. Thanks Frankie!

Great space - indoor and out
Frankie's place is unlike most vacation rentals because it feels like home. Super comfortable, bright, spacious and lacks for nothing. The one item it lacked was on our doorstep immediately. The gardens are spectacular and it was great watching the wildlife from hummingbirds to salamanders. Definitely a return visit on the calendar.

Home away from Home
Both Frankie and her home made a get away with my Mom and sisters all the more special. The house was very homey, clean and comfortable and well stocked. Frankie went above and beyond with fresh cut flowers from her garden adorning the house and brought us doughnuts from a near by specialty bakery. She was very welcoming and personable. Would for sure book her house again the next time I'm in the area..

Enjoyable Stay
Staying at this lodging felt much like staying at one’s aunt’s house. It is a little cluttered with personal photos, keepsakes, and sayings. But it is quite clean, comfortable, and spacious, with many towels and kitchen utensils. The common areas are comfortable with separate seating areas should people want to spread out. The house is conveniently located: Butchart Gardens, a variety of parks with walking trails, Sidney, Victoria, the Airport, and ferries are all closely accessible by car. Be aware, this lodging requires full payment in advance; the only VRBO reservation where I’ve encountered this thus far. We were disappointed that neither fire wood nor detergent were provided during our stay.

Excellent return visit
We came back to the same spot as last year. It us so cozy and welcoming. Well set up for younger children and walking distance to a great park and neat trails. We were not disappointed at all. My grandson calls it my borrowed house. Thank you again. We will be back.
