"If you are looking for a place to stay to ski at Gore Mountain, this is the place. The drive to the mountain was super easy and is only 18 minutes away. The house itself is a bit dated but charming. "This was our second time staying at the Lahinch lodge. It is such an amazing home and location. The small beach is perfect for cooling off and the kids had a blast paddling around. The island makes a perfect boundary for the kids to explore the water without the worry of them going out too far or fast boats coming too close. Only suggestion I would make and it is just based on a personal preference, would be to have a queen bed in the master or one other room.
