40th birthday bash/girls weekend
This was our dream home away from home. The house was very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub and the games. It was a rainy weekend so we spent time indoors singing karaoke and gaming. Will definitely come here again. Thanks Brandon and Laci for answering our questions and giving us ideas on things to do around the area.

Perfect for a group
Perfect for a large group. Private, a lot of room, clean. Lists pet friendly, not unless you are willing to leave your dog in kennels in garage or outside. Our dogs are house dogs.

Escape to the woods!
We had an absolutely incredible stay at this property! It’s nestled in a beautiful, private, wooded area, providing the perfect escape from everyday life while still being close enough to local activities for an easy drive. The peaceful surroundings made for a truly relaxing getaway, yet we were only a short trip from all of the great experiences of Duluth. One of the highlights of our trip was fly fishing in the river just down the road – such a serene and enjoyable experience. And to top it all off, we even caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights, which was absolutely magical! The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into making sure guests feel welcomed and have everything they need for a wonderful stay. From the cozy accommodations, comfortable beds, to the thoughtful touches throughout the property, it was clear they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Quiet retreat
There are plenty of trails to explore. The little creek is very relaxing to listen to and watch the fish. Off the beaten trail a bit so you have quiet and solitud.

Weekend Getaway
Our family attended a wedding in the area and chose this property based on the description. The property was exactly as described and more beautiful than the photos indicated. When we arrived there were two deer standing in the lawn and we watched a variety of wife life from the beautiful decks. This is a lovely, serene property with tons of amenities. We loved this home and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family getaway
This property was PERFECT for me, my husband, our three kids, and my parents. We all had space for ourselves and places to be together. The air hockey table was the biggest hit, and we enjoyed the board games and hot tub. The entire property was gorgeous. Would absolutely stay again!

Anniversary with Family
We had a great time with our children’s families. We explored Duluth one day, however, our best time was had staying on the property spending time together from fishing at the nearby river, looking for agates on walks, to playing games.

Family Motorcycle trip
The property was absolutely beautiful, the location was so peaceful we came in on motorcycles and had absolutely no issues.. The house has literally everything you needed beautiful furnishings, very comfortable beds, we all loved the rustic feel, wildlife, the creek in the backyard and hiking paths, and the hot tub was amazing after riding motorcycles all day..we all highly recommend this stay, owners were very attentive and they even had a gift basket of goodies waiting for us when we got there..if we come back to the area we will definitely re book here!! It was a wonderful stay!!

Gorgeous, peaceful retreat
This house was a perfect location for our group of friends traveling to the area to attend a wedding at the Ivy Black venue. The home and grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The house is incredibly spacious with multiple gathering areas inside and out. The host hit all the details that make for a great stay - clear instructions, well-stocked necessities, and even a sweet treat basket. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, Cozy, Accommodating!
This was such an accommodating place to stay. There was no need to bring pots or pans for cooking breakfast or meals as the full kitchen had everything we needed. There was a thoughtful welcome basket with snacks that we enjoyed and greatly appreciated. There wasn't a bad bedroom to sleep in they were equally decorated and had comfortable pillows and blankets. I appreciated the fan in each bedroom as I can not sleep without one. Plenty of room to just hang out and enjoy the stay, we would love to go back!

Great place to be snowed in
We had an awesome stay at this property. We thankfully made it before a big snowstorm and then we were snowed in for a few days (by choice...they plowed the drive every day), and it was great! There was a lot of space to just hang out, and the outdoor space was fun to explore. We really enjoyed the sledding hill and the hot tub.

Wedding Weekend
Chalberg Creek Lodge was the PERFECT place to stay for our goddaughter's wedding at Ivy Black! The location was great. The home was exceptional! So nice to be able to come back from the wedding festivities and be able to relax. We had 3 other couples staying with us. So much room for everyone! Brandon was SO responsive and accommodating. We made food for the the gift opening brunch that was Sunday at the Bride & Groom's house and it was just like cooking at home the kitchen is SO well stocked! Everything we needed. Beds were all very comfortable. It was just a GREAT stay! Would highly recommend staying at Chalberg Creek Lodge!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chalberg Creek Lodge. The home was beautiful, spacious and we felt very at home and the property overall was very peaceful and private. Relaxing weekend
This is a lovely, warm, relaxing environment. We had a weekend with our children and significant others. The hot tub was relaxing. We enjoyed each others' company eating, drinking, playing games and sitting by the fire. The house is very spacious and has several areas to gather but enough rooms to be separate when we wanted. The owners were very attentive and responsive when needed. They have many comforts of home and welcomed you into their space. We will be back forsure!
