Beautiful views
The views from the screened porch did not disappoint! We spent every morning rocking in the chairs with our coffee/tea, watching the ocean waves. We walked out to the edge of the neighborhood every night to catch a completely unobstructed view of the sunsets, but enjoyed watching sky change color from the deck as well. The beach was a little rough due to storms but we enjoyed sitting in the provided beach chairs and listening to the waves. The house was beautifully decorated and the kitchen, while small, was extremely well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the living room furniture was very comfy for our nightly Netflix sessions. They even had a DVD player with some classic movies! Great visit with great friends, thanks for being so responsive Ron!

We've stay here before and loved it. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our plans this time due to Hurricane Debby. Ron was super nice to work with. I just messaged him, and he was very understanding and made sure we got a full refund for the week. I'd definitely stay at his place again.

Great for family
The location was perfect. House had all the amenities we needed and more - very well stocked kitchen. Nice to have the beach chairs and bikes included. The beach was a very easy walk - perfect with a little one. The community had great ammenties. Felt very safe and friendly. The pass to the state park was a definite plus.

Ideal relaxing vacation location
The property was perfect for our two families. We loved our long walks on the beach, watching the sunrise, and collecting shells. The kids (and big kids) enjoyed the wildlife, especially the resident alligator.

Beautiful beach location
A clean, beautiful home with wonderful views of the ocean. We had coffee on the screen porch each morning and walked the beach each night. We enjoyed watching the wildlife right outside; alligators, migrating birds, and dolphins. The home is close to hunting island state park and we visited the park each day. We also stopped for ice cream on the way home each night. We loved the kitchen and used it to cook 2-3 meals everyday. There was great fishing, we caught black drum, red fish, pin fish, and sea trout. Ron was a great host! The kids say “it was the best ever!”

My New Favorite Spot at Harbor Island
I loved this place! It's in a great location with a fabulous view and not far from the beach at all. It's a much shorter walk to the beach than the walk from the villas! The house is very spacious and accommodating. The screened in porch is probably this house's best feature. I rocked away many hours on this porch enjoying the views and marvelous sea breeze. I'll be back. Sadly, not soon enough, but soon!

Relaxing and beautiful
House is so close to the beach. Takes no time at all to walk there. Very calm and shallow with no waves. Enjoyed seeing birds and alligators in the lagoon. Loved having bikes. My only complaint was the gnats around dusk, but that was certainly not Ron’s fault. We had a great time!

Relax and make memories
We had a wonderful time at this property.....so close to the beach, quiet street, great outdoor shower and entertaining bird watching. The home was spotless and we spent a lot of time on the screened porches in the evening. Owner shared their Hunting Island pass with us....very generous! Lots of great memories made here. Tysm!

We have been coming to Harbor Island for years and have stayed on all parts of the island. We loved this location! We spent hours sitting on the back porch enjoying the beautiful views and the birds! The home was super comfy. Ron was great and responsive.

The place was great! Location to the beach was extremely close and the amenities were a great plus. The host was very responsive. The house was clean and fit us well. We loved the wrap around porch! The backyard is a special place with views of birds, turtles and wildlife. Will definitely book this home again.

We loved our stay here! Super quiet community even with new builds going on! The views were beautiful and we were literally steps to the beach! The beach was peaceful with very few people on it! Very clean beach!

Amazing views!
The house has views of the beach and a rookery! We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching a lot of shore birds. Many were nesting. The beach is a very close walk. The house is on a sound so the waves are small. We will definitely go back to the house again! The owner was very responsive to all communications and offered information on the area.
