We had a two-week holiday in Normandy. This was not the first time we were here, but now a bit further west.
We have an (easy) dog and he was allowed to come along. very nice. No strange demands are made. look after it and behave, there is no problem.
A few comments. The owner does not speak English as stated in the advertisement. Since we speak French poorly, bit of a challenge, a translation program can solve this. The owner is very friendly.
The house itself is fine, but very noisy. The neighbours from the other half and upstairs can sometimes be understood literally. As long as you take each other into account and it is quiet in the evening, there is nothing wrong.
sanitary facilities and kitchen were clean, but the rest.... not always the case.
kitchen really needs an upgrade in the coming period. also replacing some important kitchen utensils with a set of for example good knives and cutlery would help. not a breaking point, but inconvenient. especially the dishwasher and washing machine are handy, luxurious and a big plus.
Furthermore, we had a lot of nuisance from ant nests at the front door and in the kitchen (also a lot of flying ants). We solved it by fighting it with boiling water and biological agent. That helped immediately.
The road and the intersection are close to the house and very busy during the day and makes quite a bit of noise. Less in evening. People do drive very (dangerous) fast. summary, a nice stay, nice house with lots of things todo
