Wonderful Stay

We had a great experience with our stay. The hosts were very responsive, property was clean, and we loved having the sauna after long days on the slopes. Would absolutely come back and stay again, especially given how close we were to the ski resorts!

Great Location to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons

This apartment is very conveniently located between Big and Little Cottonwood canyons! Great access to those ski resorts. The host is easy to contact and extremely responsive.

Great location and fantastic skiing!

The location of this property was perfect for our stay. We were in the SLC area for a week to ski and was just right for the amount of time we spent in the place. Part of the reason we booked this stay was for the sauna which was a nice way to relax after coming off the slopes for the day. Our one complaint about this listing is that the mattress in the primary room had a bit of a sag/dip to it in the middle. Overall this place fit the bill we were looking for and we enjoyed our stay!

Perfect little place to stay

This was the perfect place for my buddy and I to stay. Really close to everything including the resorts. Check in was super easy.

Great location but needs upgrade

Very convenient to ski in Alta and snowbird. However too small for family of 4. Multiple things don’t work such as the motion detect light at the front door, hair dryer and table lamp. there is also smell in the house that’s hard to get rid of. A dining table would be helpful.

Girls Weekend!

Great neighborhood, close to shopping, movie theaters and great view of the mountians. The listing itself a basement apartment,the host is above you and they must have children because we could hear them late into the night and early in the AM. So be aware of that. The sauna was so tiny the door was shorter than one of our friends and definitely wouldnt havent fit the 3 of us comfortably. The vrbo is also up a flight of wood stairs that are steep and not solid, and the parking isnt great. The hosts are easy to reach and did let us check in early, however changed the checkout requirement the night before we were to leave. Overall the beds aren't bad, the vrbo is cute but kids upstairs, carrying luggage up awful stairs, a sauna you can't use. It wasnt the girls weekend we were looking for.

Convenient location, clean space, easy check-in

We stayed here for a quick long weekend ski trip. The check in/out process couldn’t have been easier. The location was right at the mouth of big cottonwood canyon which made our morning commute to the mountain very easy. In terms of negatives, the upstairs neighbors (this is a basement vrbo) seemed to be playing tackle football for roughly 3 hours each evening. Excessive noise on the ceiling.

Property is a basement apartment so the family upstairs can be heard going about their business, so expect to hear what is going on above. Not bad, but noticeable on occasion. The property could use some updates and starting to show some age, but all clean and adequate. The location is a tremendous advantage.

Great listing if you are okay with noise

great location, super close to the mountains. you are truly in the basement of a larger home and can hear everything (footsteps, conversations, etc.) that happens above you. could benefit from a white noise machine or some type of sound proofing to reduce the noise that carries from the upstairs house.

Not to happy

Got to the place around 8pm had to go out at 10pm to get toilet paper. Woke up to find no smoke detectors in the unit. Email the owner. And 2 days later they put one in. Not happy it took that long for such a safety issue. Then another group rented the upstairs and you can hear normal conversations and lots more ..from all the rooms. So there is no insulation or soundproofing in the unit so we didn’t get much sleep. We moved out a day early and got a hotel room.

Great base camp for Alta, Brighton etc.

This was the perfect base camp for the Cottonwood Canyon ski resorts. The host went out of his way to address our questions and were friendly and respectful of our privacy. Some properties have spices, kitchen gadgets, hair dryers, etc left behind by other guests - this place doesn’t (not that I expect that, but just know you’re not going to find that kind of stuff here). Great stay thanks!!

Pleasant Stay Centrally (South) Located

My family and I were on a snow boarding and check out Salt Lake City adventure. Austin was a great host and the property worked for us very well. It is minutes from 215 which will take you to I-15 or I-80.

Perfect lodging experience

We had the perfect lodging experience! This rental was cozy and had all the necessary accommodations. The location was in great proximity to multiple ski resorts and a wonderful place to return to after a long day of skiing. We would definitely stay here again!
