Six of us stayed here, so having three bedrooms and three bathrooms, all relatively spacious (especially the master suite) was a big plus. You have to walk through one of the two bedrooms facing the pool to get to the pool, but that wasn't a problem. Grocery stores, restaurants and the beach were within easy walking distance and Jacquie was always available to answer questions and to set up our stay.
We did eat at the house fairly often and could have used more silverware, bowls, water glasses and chairs at the dining room table (there were four, with two apparently broken and stored elsewhere). More hooks in the bathroom also would have been convenient, and maybe a small lamp in the living room (the overhead lights were really bright so we didn't have them on much). But most issues were easily overcome. The pool was kept clean and full. Jacquie gave us a heads-up before the power was off for eight hours in Samara so we could plan an out-of-town excursion for the day.
We spent nine days in Samara and found plenty to do every day, whether it was an early morning beach walk, shopping at the Saturday farmers market or taking a sunset cruise. The house provided a comfortable and convenient base for these activities and more (surfing, anyone?). Just make sure Jacquie sends you her video on how to find the house -- several of the drivers we hired never would have found us otherwise! We greatly enjoyed our visit to Samara and the people we met there.
