Can improve.
Unfortunately this time around this experience was very frustrating. Communication was key and this was as the root of all the discomfort. The home itself could have been cleaner. The beds were very hard but to be expected. We did appreciate the clean towels and nice bed set up. The yard should have been cut it was very overgrown and led to many mosquitoes and other flying friends linger around us. The house itself was pretty dusty. The closets were dusty. The kitchen was dusty along with shelving, countertops, and dishes. The worst thing for me was the shower curtain liner, it was honestly gross. Once we tried to shower and the curtain got wet it smelled like urine. I apologize for being so explicit but it was very uncomfortable. If the place had been and more attention to detail had been made, I would have given this a 5. We’ve stayed at other properties and this was the 1st bad experience for us. If these issues were addressed I would mind booking again. The space was sufficient, location was convenient, and it was still private.

Air Force BMT graduation
We enjoyed the house, the beds were comfortable and towels extra plush. Very clean. We did think the hot water was a bit too hot, trying to adjust the shower so maybe turn it down some. The living rm could use a table lamp so you don’t have to only use the ceiling fan light. Everything else was great, nice stay. The a/c was working very hard with the outdoor temps being 105-110, and we had to turn it up to over 82 to get it to shut off for a bit to give it a break. Not sure if unit needs some service. Thanks again for a nice stay to bring our Airman back to for relaxing.

Almost Perfect
This was our first VrBo experience but it won’t be our last. The property manager was very helpful and responsive. The only complaints we had were the AC temperature couldn’t get below 75 (in all fairness, the outside temp was over 100 daily), the floor was had a stickiness that left our feet dirty, and there were no places to hang towels in the bathroom. Other than that, it was the perfect place to stay for a BMT graduation. Our son wanted just wanted to relax and catch up with his siblings and parents, and the house was the perfect setting. The host provided a nice Keurig and some K cups, plates, utensils, and even seasonings and pancake syrup. The bottle of wine was also a very nice touch. The location couldn’t be closer to Lackland, and the highways. I have no doubt the property manager would’ve addressed the few minor complaints if I had notified him, but we were so busy and happy to see our son so we didn’t bother. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this house again.

The property was nice. Not the best neighborhood, not the worst. The house was very nice, appreciated the Air Force theme. It was easy to get a response from our host. The only issue we had was that the floor in the kitchen and living room were not very clean. White socks were almost black after walking around for awhile. We did enjoy our stay. The bottle of welcome wine was a nice touch. Thank you for sharing your home.

Our stay was very pleasant, the property was in very good condition, the house was very clean & homey, many utilities was provided which made it very convenient for our stay. The neighborhood was very quiet which was a plus, overall the best I have been to so far, would definitely book again!

I definitely love and adore the house.

Super Clean Home, Very Close to Lackland AFB
We rented this property to be close to Lackland AFB as we were attending a graduation. It’s very close and we ubered everywhere. The house was immaculate with welcome touches. It definitely stands out from its surroundings. My only issue during the stay was the neighborhood and not the house. I was hoping for some relaxing downtime, but the neighborhood was loud all day and late into the night. There’s also a lot of dogs in the neighborhood. A loose pit bull chased us to the door upon arriving. And on night two another pit bull stood outside the picture window barking into the house at 1AM in the morning. A muscle car across the street revved it’s engine every time it left. And there was constantly cars parking in front of the muscle carhouse and talking on the the road all night long. In the backyard, a myriad of dogs howled at each other at all hours of the night. Even someone’s chickens would set off the barking. Overall, I’d highly recommend this to anyone who wants a clean house near Lackland AFB. If you aren’t as sensitive with sound as I am, it’s be a great fit for other stays as well.

Everything bigger in TX
The manager of the home was grest. Sent warm enails. Had conversation over the phone. Just very understanding. If any pick this home to stay in you will find huge rooms. Nice back yard with chairs to sit Huge dining table Just over all AC on point. Hahahaha one more thing every room had a flat sceeen TV Ceiling fan in everyroom Just all things you woild need at your home was provided for you. Thank you again

Neighborhood is great, felt very safe walking around. 8 minutes to the gate at Lackland. Clean house
It was just me, so many of the bedrooms were locked, which in hindsight I should have expected but I was hoping to get to pick which bed I wanted. The house was clean, AC worked well. The neighborhood was a very normal, quiet area. Owner was very easy to get ahold of to extend my stay. The back porch area was nice and shady in the afternoon.

Could use a little TLC
The house is okay, it is very basic. If you are looking for spending time relaxing in this house during your vacations this might not be the house. The house has no "homey" feeling to it, pretty much only beds and TV's with plain white walls in every room. There are not even mirrors in the rooms, which was a big inconvenience when getting ready. The house really needs a good deep cleaning. The light fixtures are full of dead bugs, there are spiderwebs on the walls and around doors on the inside of the house. Kitchen walls are greasy, under the beds you can see accumulation of dust bunnies as well. The floor was sticky on some areas. The grill looks like it's never been cleaned and the sofas have definitely seen better days. The extra blankets were only folded and not washed because there were ice cream wrappers tangled up in between. Over all like I said it's not a bad place to stay in if you only plan to sleep and perhaps cook something quick before heading out the door and carry on with vacation plans. Beds were comfortable and in good conditions. However, if you plan on staying in the house relaxing and enjoying your stay at the house, you won't get that here, since the yard is not what I would call private, you can see the surrounding neighbors yards and their business and can't really use the grill, unless you give it a good scrub before. Neighbors were pretty noisy with music until passed 11pm on Saturday night.

The property was clean and nice. We enjoyed the back patio. The beds were comfortable. I reported that the dryer was not working. It was not a big deal mostly for their information.
