Nice place with everything we needed
The house came with everything we needed. We enjoyed the bikes and the outdoor games and beach things. Kitchen could use some new sharper knifes but everything else was fine. Enough space for the four of us, conveniently located close to the grocery store and beach. An overall ok stay!

No frills cottage close to the beach
We had a very enjoyable stay at this cottage. Nothing fancy, but it was clean, great location, and I wish I was still sitting on the front patio listening to the ocean! Layout is a bit unusual, I think it would be a bit awkward for more than a few people, due to having the single bathroom between the two bedrooms. Only suggestion I would make is to label the keys, as each gate had a different key and I spent a few minutes every time trying to locl/unlock things.

Cozy beach home
Beautiful cozy beach home. We spent a week here and didn’t want to leave. Felt like home away from home. Less than a 1 minute walk to the ocean and 2 minutes to the bay. Great food all around and easy to rent anything needed for the beach. Cant wait to come back!

Great location / awful accommodation
This host is banking location & not about care of the property.Other hosts invited us in so we compared it to others in the neighborhood. Much of the listing is inaccurate. The photographs are out of date."Amenities" are listed multiple times but are still absent at the property. For example: There is no tv or cable except for a Roku. There are no "premium linens" anywhere. Towels & washcloths appear to be from the ASPCA thrift store.Though listed, there were no paper towels. The house has not been vacuumed or mopped ever. All the windowsills & thresholds are filthy so when you do open a window be prepared for dirt, sand & aged grime. Every seating surface & every cushion has some sort of stain on it. You will fear sitting in who knows what: fudge?Peanut butter?Or something more dastardly? Rugs & dangerously installed floors are dirty exhibiting stains and neglect.Watch your step. Your 1st encounter will be the unkempt patio, Then the dirty windows and stained curtains. Be wary of the trundle bed.Listing states that there is a parking spot & garage this is not true.There is only a single car garage which is manageable for smaller vehicles if you are willing to move the neighbors' trash cans to maneuver. Photographs are all out of date. Be aware the Jack & Jill bathroom requires passing through the bunkbedroom. A stay with 6 or 7 people in this house will be a challenge. Better if you keep your shoes on and don't sit down.

75 steps to the beach
Sunsets were amazing. We enjoyed our stay. The little cottage met all our needs. Good thing I had a mini cooper that I could fit in the garage with a couple tries (though could have been my poor parking skills.) Wonderful location. Grocery and laundry within walking distance among many and varied restaurants. Enjoyed people watching and surfers.

Winter Break Vacation
My grandson, who lives in Washington, was on winter break so we all met in San Diego (where my son and his family live). We had a great visit and this VRBO was our "home base" for fun. Although it was February, we enjoyed the beach and appreciated the beach items provided by the landlords, including the bicycles. The patio was wonderful. Thank you for a great stay.

Cozy and nice
Quaint cottage rental in a great neighborhood and close to bay, ocean, many great places to eat. Great area for walking, biking, and viewing sunsets. Easy communication ŵith owners. Great patio area but no sunshine there in January. Online pictures portray the cottage well. There was room to spare with just 2 of us. Bikes were older but worked well for us.

Perfect Beach Getaway!
We loved this little house. Itnhad everything we needed. We stayed with 2 adults and 6 kids (4months-10yrs). We cooked in most nights and the place had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals. I especially appreciated all the beach equipment they supplied. They had umbrellas, chairs, body boards and sand toys which the kids loved. The location was perfect for mission beach, just a few steps from the sand. The place is small but just fine. Kind neighbors as well. Thanks for the great stay!

Had a wonderful week in San Diego in this home. Perfect for our family of 4. Such convenient access to the boardwalk/ocean as well as bay, it’s a wonderful location. Everything as described. Appreciated the AC, dishwasher, and beach toys/boogie boards!

Location, location, location
Two of us with 18yr old son. It was perfect for our needs. Very close to the beach, restaurants (highly recommend the fish tacos at Single Fin). Great patio. Space is a little quirky. Either go through one bedroom to get to the bathroom and larger bedroom or access from outside. Not a problem for us, but could be for light sleepers. As others have noted, the garage is very small and the alley very narrow. Couldn’t get a midsized sedan in, but found on-street parking within a block without a lot of hassle. Highly recommend!

Accurate description
The location was great and the hosts were responsive. To ensure no disappointment, be sure to note the parking restrictions and the lack of washer/dryer. The layout can be tricky if you have kids that go to bed early; to get to the bathroom or primary bedroom you do have to pass through the second bedroom.

Great Vacation
Had a great time at this cottage. It was enough room for a family of 5 to come home and relax after enjoying the beach during the day. My only suggestion is to have an another TV in the house (maybe in the master bedroom)so that everyone doesn't have to watch the same thing as they relax and wind down after some fun in the sun.

Fabulous Beach Stay
This was such a charming beach cottage and the location was perfect! It was magical to hangout in the morning drinking our coffee and see the oceans. We loved riding bike's and hanging out and BBQing. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a couple or small young family!
This is the sweetest beach cottage with the best owners! Great location, perfect, small but clean space for a family with little ones or a couple with room to spread out. Great outdoor space, plus bikes, beach chairs, toys, etc. We loved it! Would for sure rent again!

Steps away from the beach was fantastic! My Jeep Wrangler barely fit in the one car garage...smaller is better for this cute lil place. Super close to Pacific Beach fun, Belmont Park fun and Mission Bay is practically across the road! Loved our stay.!

Great Beach House, really tight parking
Our stay was very nice; the location is very close to the water and also close to the bay. There are a few restaurants very close to the house, but not an overabundance of them. The property was clean and the air conditioning was a huge bonus since we were there at a very warm time (beginning of Sept.). The garage for the car was incredibly tight and hard for me to get into, thankfully we had a Prius so we were able to make it work. Parking would be an issue in this area if you needed to find a space. You are also very close to the neighbors' patios but everyone seemed very nice. Overall a great vacation with the waves within sight.
