I am writing to share details of my recent vacation in Fajardo. The picturesque views and delicious meals we enjoyed were truly amazing. We were able to admire the beautiful sea life from our balcony, setting the stage for what we hoped would be a relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a significant concern that I feel compelled to bring to your attention. During our stay, we encountered a severe roach infestation in our accommodation, along with fecal matter and sewage in the tub. The unsanitary conditions, particularly in the bedroom and kitchen, were distressing, especially for my daughter, who is currently pregnant. This situation led to severe nausea and discomfort, necessitating relocation to alternative lodging on the last night. Despite our efforts to address the issue with the owners, we were left with no choice but to seek alternative accommodation on our final night due to the unhygienic environment. The unexpected financial burden of securing a new hotel room at $340.00 per night added to our distress. Although the owners partially reimbursed us with $540.00, it would not cover the full extent of our expenses had we stayed in a hotel, leaving us in a challenging position. The owners' final response, which included accusations of causing financial losses and leaving the property in disarray, was disheartening, especially considering their initial hospitality and concern.

Fabulous Place to Stay for Activities involving Natural Beauty of the Island
This condo is peaceful with a gorgeous view from the 23rd floor balcony: ocean, marina & mountains. My family with kids age 8 and 11 definitely preferred this location to the city. The living room is large, even when the sofa bed is pulled out. You can actually catch a glimpse of manatees and sea turtles if you look into the ocean far below for a while. The amenities at the condo complex are quite lovely. We enjoyed the pool (very large, not crowded, with a view of the mountains). The owner provides a basketball, tennis racquet & balls to use onsite. I also enjoyed my sunrise walks on the paths within the community (gated, safe). And there is coin-operated laundry on the ground floor. The owner was very responsive throughout. We had a toilet clog once and she sent someone over to fix it in less than half an hour. This is a great location if you want to do things like snorkeling boat cruises, bio bay, zip lining, or waterfalls in the rain forest. Fajardo is close to all of these things. We did drive to San Juan for the El Morro Fort and kayaking in Condado Lagoon. The beaches near here are awesome, too - Luquillo was probably our favorite. But Seven Seas is highly recommended as well. Both of them have public showers (important for the kids to wash out the sand). The owner provides two beach chairs & beach towels, which came in very handy. Check-in: If you come in on a red-eye, getting in the first time can be difficult. Guard opens gate only after they talk to the owner.

Wonderful getaway
I took my teenage daughters away for a little getaway and we were so pleased! We weren't in the mood for a crowded resort and we wanted the privacy of our own place. This was exactly what we were looking for! The space was bright and spacious, and had a great view over the water. I spent every morning on the balcony while the girls slept in. We had a car, and were within ten minutes of great beaches. We loved everything about this place, and our host was very helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend!

Marína View was Wonderful
Well kept high rise condos with views of marinas, hills and the sea. Unit was just like the photos and the pool is huge and perfect for actually swimming. Seems like you will need to drive to most places but enjoy the view when you return. We made a couple of trips into San Juan that took about an hour. Luquillo beach is about 20 minutes north with wide beaches, plenty of food kiosk and palm tree shade around the edges. Great spot to spend the entire day. Lots to see and explore in the area including day trips for snorkeling and a number of good restaurants. The Reserva Natural Cabezas de San Juan - Para la Naturaleza on the other side of Los Croabas was closed to cars in January 2024, looks like they are working on hurricane damage repairs.

Perfect location for exploring
Pros are comfy bed and pillows, shower with hot water, basic kitchen setup, clean overall, convenient location to activities on the east side of the island – that’s what we were looking for and our needs were met. Wifi is good and A/C blows cold. All A/C units drip to lower units, not anything the host has control over but you’ll notice the dripping sound. A bonus is the view of the marina and boat traffic from the balcony, which we enjoyed. It does come with loud music and one night a late wedding party. Cons are the age and overall condition of the unit as others have commented, but I believe that is reflected in the price. If you buy basic groceries make sure to get pods for the coffee maker. Skip Walmart and go the Ralph’s. No dishwasher, and also no dish towels or dish drain, so plan accordingly. Hot tub is listed but all we could find was a small kiddie pool next to the main pool. A note about check-in: Call using green left button on Liftmaster and dial the phone number as opposed to trying to put it in as a pin with the red button on the right. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend this condo.

Great location but
Great ocean views, safe gated location at the marina next to attractions and restaurants. Clean unit which is important. Host does not leave water or coffee as others do in the area, bring your own. Entrance code to the building did not work, i was fortunate that a resident grant me access because host did not answer my calls through the system and i arrived in the evening, around 8pm which made check-in stressful. Also, the maintenance crew was knocking on the door prior to check out time which made me feel rushed to leave at checkout. Although nice & polite cleaning lady but still stressed because she waited outside until i left. Also, bedroom darkening shades didn't work which was ok for me because i am an early riser but not so great for my partner. He likes to sleep in. Overall best value in the area.

First class views and contactless property management makes the stay here feel like it your own private getaway! Appliances are all updated, there’s the gorgeous view from the high balcony overlooking the marina, and the wi-fi is fast and strong! A storm came through while we stayed and the property is so well placed that there was nothing harmed and we could just watch it pass through. The location makes it easy to take boat trips, go shopping, stay at a beach, or go hike El Yunque National Forest. Check in was seamless, just ring the gate guard and they’ll let you park, and then just follow the directions to the elevator and get your key! Towels and soaps are fully stocked, and it’s great to be able to brew your own coffee every morning watching the sunrise from this condo!

Our recent stay in Fajardo, Puerto Rico was absolutely delightful! The stunning views offered by our Vrbo were simply breathtaking. From the moment we stepped onto the balcony, we were greeted by panoramic vistas that showcased the natural beauty of the area. Waking up to the sight of the shimmering ocean and verdant hills was truly a treat for the senses. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable, providing us with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I will stay here again!

We only stayed for a few days during the July 4th weekend. We had a late flight and did not get to the property until 3 am, which caused us a bit of a problem with the check-in process. However, the property is beautiful and the views are spectacular. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

When you arrive, you must check in with security at the gated entrance. Security must confirm you stay with the host. We arrived around 10pm after landing in PR. The host did not answer for security. We had to beg for entrance as not to have to find another room for the night. The condo itself was bad. But the condo has two a/c units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Only the one in the living room worked. The bedroom was hot all day and night. The host said she’d send someone to fix it. No one ever came. It was two of us in the condo. We stayed 6 days. The Host left us one set of towels to use the entire 6 days. So we had one face cloth to use. She kept saying she would send her house keeper to bring more towels and telling use about another set of bath towels that should be in the condo. The housekeeper never came. She gave us excuses for why she could show. I won’t stay with her again. Her response time is slow and she came back and blamed us for not responding to her in time to get us more towels. Definitely won’t stay with her again.

This was the perfect start to our trip. From here we had easy access to Luquillo Beach and the Ferry to the islands. All with a beautiful view, where you can watch the boats come in and out. There were chairs and a cooler, which is a really nice bonus to the entire stay. The host was quick to reply with the minimal questions that we had. We would definitely book again on a future stay!
