Overall, we felt that this house was a great choice for us. We really liked the property and its location. Easy access to the amenities of the Ritz Carlton Reserve. Having use of the golf cart was key. There was plenty of room, a nice layout of the house, and lots of usable space. The kitchen was nice sized and overall it was very comfortable. It was a little "dated."
There were MANY issues, mostly related to malfunctioning appliances and toilets. More frustrating was a lack of responsiveness of our West Indies Vacations representative during our stay.
We received many text messages from the property manager representative saying that she “would be happy to assist,” but after an initial response or two promising that someone would come out to evaluate, all of our texts went unanswered. There was NO resolution of any of the many problems we contacted them about.
We took care of the unit and its contents. When we checked out, we followed instructions provided. We took the trash out. We hand washed all of the dishes, glasses, and silverware since the dishwasher did not work. We cleaned up as we would have done at our own home. We care for places we rent as we would care for own homes, but we kind of expect that the property owners / managers will take care of our needs during our stay. That did not happen in this case.
