We were a group of 5 adults over 50 The property and the situation was ideal for us. We hired a car which gave us extra freedom to go where we pleased as we were not all up to walking. The club was right next to us but we were not disturbed at all. The apartment is under the flight path but we got used to the planes passing overhead. Again no problem. We would have no hesitation in booking this property again.

102 The Palms
The stay was good and property on the Palms is where we wanted to be as we have visited there many times. Whole thing somewhat soured when, after we had returned home, we received a mail from the owner accusing us of accessing a personal cupboard. The cupboard in question was left in locked and accessible in the main bathroom and it contained amongst other things prescription meds which would have been potentially very dangerous if found by a child.

What a disappointment!
We have just spent 2 weeks at this property. Whilst everything was scrupulously clean and the duplex was indeed spacious, it was in parts tired and shabby (e.g. upstairs bathroom, upstairs patio furniture) and we certainly wouldn’t agree that it was ‘luxurious’ or ‘recently fully renovated’. It is obvious that the ‘description’ was written some time ago and does not reflect the property’s current condition. It needs updating. In addition the ‘information folders’ inside the property are similarly years out of date. Having said all this it was OK and we were comfortable there. One thing that is not mentioned in the property description is that it is DIRECTLY under the flight path for the airport. So every few minutes throughout the whole day planes are flying extremely low overhead and the noise is deafening - we were not able to hold a conversation or listen to the television until they had passed over. As a consequence this was not the quiet, peaceful holiday that we had hoped for. More seriously was the fact that on arrival we were unable to gain access to the property. The keys were meant to be in the key safe but they were not. It was empty. We had been given 3 local phone numbers to ring if we had problems. Two were unobtainable and the third was not answered. The owner (in the UK) was unobtainable too. So we were stuck outside (in the early evening) with nowhere to go for well over an hour trying to resolve the situation. VRBO were excellent and after encountering the same problems as us, in that they couldn’t contact anyone either, they were in the process of booking us into a hotel. A neighbour overheard us, came out of his house and took us to the on-site restaurant to see if they knew anyone who could help. Fortunately they knew who the cleaner was, they contacted her and she immediately came and let us in. We were then told that it was the owner herself who had left the property earlier that day and it was she who had omitted to put the keys in the key safe for us, The owner needs to ensure that the property description is accurate and that all contact details she gives guests are up to date, correct and actually work when problems arise. It was an extremely stressful start to our holiday.

An absolutely fantastic villa. We have stayed at the palms a few times, this villa is by far the best we have stayed in. Raewyn very kindly allowed us to stay an extra day after our flight was cancelled, an absolutely generous and warm hearted thing to do. Thank you for an exceptional holiday. Would highly recommend.

Break in the Sun
Great sunny location and apartment suited us both with plenty of amenities and facilities to enjoy our holiday. Inside the apartment was very good. The balcony and terrace have a great location however the outdoor furniture could do with updating/cleaning. All in all we had an enjoyable week and would hope to return one day.

Great location for a vacation
This was a fantastic location for our family of 4 including 2 teenagers. It was perfectly equipped to make our meals which we always appreciate. The layout of the house worked really well for us with teenagers. The close pool was the perfect temperature even in February and we had fun at Bingo just outside the door. There’s lots to do in the area and even more to do once you figure out the local bus system. This was a really relaxing stay but there were also lots of opportunities for activities.

Home from home
Thoroughly enjoyed our month in 102, already booked for next year. Everything we needed for a long stay, clean and comfortable. 102 is very close to the pool which is heated in the winter and very clean. The Palms is a very well kept complex with good food and entertainment in the bar, and also in the Waterfall which is in the close to the Palms. Good bus services very close, as is a new well stocked supermarket. Thank you Raewyn

Spacious and clean villa
The accommodation is spacious and very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and was very clean and well presented. I think the location is suited to those looking for a quiet holiday as there isn’t much in the way of restaurants, shops and bars nearby without a bit of a walk. The on-site clubhouse has a generally older clientele, decent food but we had the feeling that the best of attention is reserved for those who own and stay there, not the holiday rental guests. Almost felt like we were being herded out the door after dinner. It would make us think twice about returning to this villa which is a real shame as it is a lovely property.

Excellent accommodation for 4 people with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a separate WC. In very good order with new kitchen doors being fitted on our departure date. Excellent view if you are a plane spotter as they fly directly over the apartment. Resort area was quiet which was great as there were 18 of us at the Palms. Have Sky TV which is an added bonus if you want a home from home.

Attractive clean and very spacious.
The property had everything you could want or need. Plenty of glasses cutlery crockery. Change of linen halfway included was great. Very spacious comfortable interior, balcony and terrace. The Palms restaurant offered great food and good entertainment. Pool area fantastic. Complex neat and tidy. Convenient for shops medical centre and bars/restaurants. Couldn't fault accommodation at all. Aircraft directly overhead quite noisy though unfortunately but you do adapt to it. Overall really good.

On arrival, the place was very clean and spacious. There were plenty of "little touches" like a welcome pack of a few essential groceries, liquid hand soap, spare toilet rolls, etc. A full compliment of hand and bath towels, tea towels, beach towels (all linen was replaced every week). Although the downstairs bedroom was only 25 feet away from the club house, there was no noise from any late night revellers, as the patio door were double-double glazed (a second pair outside the first!). Raewyn and the person who looks after the place for her obviousley care about the house. We will definately be re-booking without any hesitation! Brenda & Rod

Welcome pack on arrival was a lovely idea, especially as we arrived late at night. The house had everything we needed & the sheets & towels were changed half way through out stay. We received comprehensive details on the property & useful information about shops & restaurants in the area which was brilliant. The pool area was clean & well maintained, with plenty of sun loungers around the pool even though it was mid August. I would definitely recommend the accommodation & resort. The only negative thing is that you are under the flight path, but we were aware of that when we booked and for us it was not an issue.
