" Tältet låg precis bredvid värdens hus. Stället var inte fullt iordningsställt inför vår vistelse (vi vet att värden var skadad och har förståelse). Golvet till uteduschen var inte utlagt (inget vi kunde göra själva). Kändes tyvärr slarvigt och utan finess."

"Es gab viele Spielmöglichkeiten für die Kinder und der naheliegenden Strand mit Steg war auch sehr beliebt bei uns. Trotz einige Häuser drum herum, war es sehr ruhig. Das Haus liegt in einer Art Tal, so dass man die anderen Häuser nicht sehen kann."

"Ein kleines Haus auf einem wunderbaren Grundstück. Ein herzlicher Empfang durch die direkt neben dem Haus (10m) wohnenden Gastgebern. Funktionale Inneneinrichtung, die in die Jahre gekommen ist. Bei Bett und Couch ist der Begriff „Patina“ nicht mehr anzuwenden. Stark durchgesessen / durchgelegen. Der Fernsehtechnik war nicht in Gang zu bringen, der DVD Player nicht vorhanden. "Das Haus war perfekt für uns. Die Kinder hatten ihre eigene Hütte und konnten sich zurückziehen. Es war unglaublich still und man konnte perfekt zur Ruhe kommen. In 5 Minuten war man am Meer und konnte baden oder angeln. In 15 Minuten war man an der Bushaltestelle und hatte sehr gute Verbindung nach Stockholm. Ein nettes Dorf in der Nähe, sowie ein Hafen von wo aus man eine Bootsfahrt in den Schären machen konnte oder ein Kajak zum paddeln leihen."

"The property was wonderful with water views in all directions. We had lovely weather which made this property so enjoyable. The house is situated on a high location with amazing views and the dock is down a path to the water, making it nice to take a dip. The house is spacious, and well equipped for large groups. The surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful. It’s a lovely place in the Swedish archipelago. "

"Wunderschöne Lage! Es ist ein gemütliches, schlichtes, vollständig ausgestattestes Haus mit tollem Blick. Die Gastgeberinnen waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln da - das geht gut (einmal umsteigen bzw. eine knappe Stunde bis Stockholm). Nur der Supermarkt ist weit weg. Vor Ort ist einzig der Strandkiosk."

"Wer Ruhe und Natur sucht ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohlgefühlt und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen. Der Strand ist ca 5 Minuten fußläufig entfernt, Stockholm ca 30min mit Auto bzw Bus. Für die letzten Kilometer zum Haus ist ein Auto unbedingt notwendig. Haben immer beim Park and Ride Shopping Värmdö geparkt und sind mit dem Bus nach Stockholm gefahren. Bettwäsche und Handtücher muss man selbst mitbringen und die Endreinigung ist selbst durchzuführen. "

"Our time on Gistholmen was FANTASTIC! However, it started with the hiccup of the VRBO description being on the wrong island (it is NOT on Ingmarsö Södra, an 8 minute walk from the ferry dock as the description is or at least was, hopefully that gets updated!). It is on Gistholmen that you need to take the Waxholmsbolaget ferry to (no need to book ahead, but depending on the day and season there might only be two potential drop-off and pick-up times). Our lovely host offered to refund our money,...
