So there isn't much I can say that hasn't been said in the other reviews. The property was really clean and we'll maintained. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room. We enjoyed exploring the river below. I was hoping to get some fishing in, but apparently summer isn't the season for fish in the river. There were a lot of crawdads though.
The location was great for taking in the sights, with just about everything within about a 20 minute drive.
My only complaint, as others have stated, so I was forewarned, was the proximity to the highway. The driveway is right off the highway around a bend, making it a risky endeavor to back out. I got pretty good at it, but it was scary none the less.
Also, even though the yard and deck feel like your little oasis of greenery, you can't escape the sound of cars going over the bridge.
Finally, while the trip down to the river didn't bother me at all, it is a steep little climb and might be precarious to some.
We had a great time all and all and I can us coming back again.
